Emergency First Aid Procedures:
Eye Hold eyelids open and flush with lots of water for 15 minutes. If irritation
Contact: persists after flushing, get medical attention.
Skin Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water. If irritation
Contact: develops after washing, get medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If breathing stops, give artificial respiration and get
medical attention.
Ingestion: Call a physician or poison control center. Give person 1-2 glasses of water to
drink, and induce vomiting by touching back of throat with finger. If Syrup of
Ipecac is available, give 1 tablespoon (15 ml) followed by 1-2 glasses of water. If
vomiting does not occur within 20 minutes, repeat dosage once. Never induce
vomiting or give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person.
Note to physician: No specific antidote is available. Treat symptomatically.
Medical conditions aggravated by Existing skin irritation, cuts or scrapes may be aggravated

Accidental Release Procedures
Section 7:
Large Spill or Leak Isolate and contain spill. Remove unauthorized persons from
Procedures: spill area. Do not walk through spilled materials. Wear suitable
protective gear. Carefully sweep or scoop spilled material and
place in a closed, labeled container for use or disposal. Scrub
contaminated surfaces with detergent and water, and collect wash
water solution for proper disposal according to label directions.

waters.
Small Spill or Leak Wear protective clothing as recommended on label. Sweep up

Exposure Controls and Personal Protection

Protective Clothing and Wash thoroughly after handling and before eating, drinking,

Respiratory Protection: For normal handling and use, a respirator is not required.
For excessively dusty conditions, use a dust mask approved
by MSHA/NIOSH. See OSHA regulations in 29 CFR 搂

contact with eyes.
Hand Protection: Good safety practices suggest the use of chemical-resistant
(natural rubber) gloves, to prevent skin contact.
Skin Protection: Wear long-sleeved shirt and long trousers to reduce skin

Contaminated Equipment: Launder contaminated clothing separately from street clothes.
Clean contaminated boots/shoes and other equipment with
detergent and water immediately after use.

Handling and Storage Precautions

Handling Wear suitable protective gear when handling open containers. Do not
