SECTION 3. EMERGENCY/HAZARDS OVERVIEW


Green , milo with crystalline-alkaloid coating. No odor. Highly toxic poison. Do
not inhale, ingest or allow to come in contact with open cuts. Convulsive poison. When overheated, gives
off toxic fumes. Not DOT regulated.

SECTION 4. FIRST AID



Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected areas with germicidal soap and water.
May cause an allergic reaction. See physician if irritation persists.
Ingestion: CALL A PHYSICIAN OR POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY. If less
than ten (10) minutes have passed since poison was ingested, give 1 or 2 glasses of water
and induce vomiting by touching back of throat with finger. Repeat until vomit fluid
is clear. Have patient lie down in quiet, darkened room and keep him warm and quiet.
DO NOT induce vomiting or give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-
to-mouth. Get medical attention.
Notice to
Physicians: Administer 100% oxygen by positive pressure to provide as much pulmonary gas
exchange as possible, despite seizures. Administer Anticonvulsant drugs intravenously to
control convulsions. CAUTION: It may be difficult or impossible to stop the
seizure activity without stopping respiration. Be prepared to maintain pulmonary
ventilation mechanically. Tracheotomy may be necessary if seizures are prolonged.

Work/Hygienic Practices: Keep out of reach of children, pets and domestic animals. Convulsion poison.

breathe dust. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Do not contaminate
feed and foodstuffs. Wash arms, hands and face with germicidal soap and
Water after using and before eating or accepting anything by mouth or
