The One Way Slow-Go Speed Hump is used as a positive means to traffic control
flow. In one direction the One Way Speed Hump provides uninterrupted access by
allowing the free flow of traffic in one direction, while securely barring entry or exit
from the other direction.
The One Way Speed Hump gives you unattended protection against wrong way
traffic. It requires no power source, is maintenance free and achieves the added
benefit of total speed control around often-dangerous entrances and exits.
No excavation or cutting is required as it simply bolts to the existing road surface
and is maintenance free.
Each of the protruding teeth on each module work totally independent of one
another which makes the One Way Slow Go Speed Hump extremely difficult to
defeat, and in the unlikely event that the component is damaged, the entire unit
and all working parts are serviceable and repairs can be done on-site with basic
hand-tools.
One Way Speed Humps come complete with a 鈥渓ock down鈥? bar, which when fitted
holds all the teeth in the down position and allows traffic in booth directions.
The One Way Slow Go Speed Hump is used in a variety of applications and can
replace costly boom gates at exits to all car parks, including car parking stations,
industrial and commercial complexes, hospitals, universities, shopping centers,
airports, caravan parks, tourist attractions, self service outlets, etc.
Things To Take Into Consideration
1. The surface must be made of Concrete or Bitumen.
2. The installation site should be at least two meters from any pedestrian
crossings and/or marked walkways.
3. The installation site should be in clear view and not near blind corners or
structures.
4. The installation site should be clearly marked as 鈥渆ntry only鈥?.
5. The install site should be away from car spots where cars need to reverse
out of parking spots.
6. Spikes must not be placed on walkways or footpaths.
8. When measuring length required (Measure from road edge to road edge, not gutter
to gutter) to secure the entry/exit, whilst leaving a gap so that water can run
off.
9. Spikes should not be placed on up ramps.
Seton recommends you install an awareness kit to warn vehicle and pedestrian
traffic of the One Way Slow-Go System. Each Awareness kit comes with one
signpost and base, and one warning sign with mounting brackets.
