Section 4. First Aid Measures
Eye Contact Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at
least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation occurs.
Skin Contact Wash with soap and water. Cover the irritated skin with an emollient. Get medical attention if irritation develops.
Serious Skin Contact Not available.
Inhalation If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get
medical attention.
Serious Inhalation Evacuate the victim to a safe area as soon as possible. Loosen tight clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or
waistband. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If the victim is not breathing, perform mouth-to-mouth
resuscitation. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. If large quantities of this material are swallowed, call a physician immediately. Loosen tight
clothing such as a collar, tie, belt or waistband.

elevated temperatures Fine powder forms flammable and explosive mixtures in air.
Fire Hazards
Special Remarks on Explosion Fine dust dispersed in air in sufficient concentrations, and in the presence of an ignition source is a potential dust
explosion hazard.
Hazards
Section 6. Accidental Release Measures
Small Spill Use appropriate tools to put the spilled solid in a convenient waste disposal container.
Large Spill Flammable solid.
Stop leak if without risk. Do not touch spilled material. Use water spray curtain to divert vapor drift. Prevent
entry into sewers, basements or confined areas; dike if needed. Eliminate all ignition sources. Call for assistance
on disposal.

all possible sources of ignition (spark or flame).
Section 8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
Engineering Controls Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to keep airborne levels below
recommended exposure limits. If user operations generate dust, fume or mist, use ventilation to keep exposure to
airborne contaminants below the exposure limit.
Personal Protection Safety glasses. Lab coat. Dust respirator. Be sure to use an approved/certified respirator or equivalent. Gloves.
Personal Protection in Case of Splash goggles. Full suit. Dust respirator. Boots. Gloves. A self contained breathing apparatus should be used
a Large Spill to avoid inhalation of the product. Suggested protective clothing might not be sufficient; consult a specialist
BEFORE handling this product.

Chronic Effects on Humans
Special Remarks on other Acute Potential Health Effects:
Toxic Effects on Humans Skin: May cause skin irritation. Low hazard for ususal industrial handling.
Eyes: Causes eye irritation. Low hazard for ususal industrial handling.
Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation. Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause asthmnatic attacks
due to allergic sensitizaiton of the respiratory tract.
Ingestion: Can cause gastrointestinal tract irritation/digestive distrubances with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea,
adbominal pains, bloated adbomen, headaches, skin eruptions(eczema, psoriasis, rashes, herpetic eruptions and
brown and yellow spots on the skin are common). It acts on soft tissues, blood vessels, bones, joints, liver and
heart. It can cause sore throat with swollen tonsils. It can cause cold-like symptoms such as generation of
mucous (which is yellow, salty, thick), a constant, deep, hollow cough tight test. The cough is worse in the
evening. It may cause eye conditions in which the eyes are inflammed, and red adn the eyelids are grainy. When
abdominal pains are present they are of a cutting, griping, clutching, or squeezing nature. Gas is accompanied by
a bloated abdomen that feels better after passing gas adn wearing loose clothing. The gas is worse after eating.
Joint pains are typically tearing pains that start on the right side and move to the left side. The knee and finger
joints are especially stiff. Pains are better from continued movement or warmth and worsened during fever, sitting
still, and initial movement. It may also affect behavior/central nervous system (irritability, restlessness, weepy,
sensitive, quarrelsome, melancholy, depression, dullness, confusion, poor memory, amnesia, anger,
hypersensivity to noise, sadness, anxiety, fears, insecurity, cowardice).
