4. FIRST AID INFORMATION
If Swallowed: Rinse mouth and drink plenty of water or milk. Do NOT induce
Vomiting. Seek medical advice immediately.
If Eye Contact Occurs: Flush with copious quantities of water for 15 minutes.
Seek medical attention.
If Skin Contact Occurs: Immediately wash affected areas thoroughly with
water. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before reuse.

If Inhalation of vapour occurs: Remove affected person to fresh air and seek
medical attention.
Doctors treat symptomatically.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES:
Extinguishing Media: Use water on decomposing mass and fight fire upwind
if outdoors.
Special Procedures: Wear breathing apparatus & Protective Clothing
Hazardous Decomposition Products: May produce phosphorous oxides,
nitrogen oxides and ammonia during a fire.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES:
Spills –�? Small spills may be sluiced away with water to drains. Large spills
greater than approx 10kg should be swept up into containers for disposal at
approved landfill.

7. HANDLING & STORAGE:
Storage: Store material in original containers in cold room or refrigerator
below 25 deg C. Higher temperatures will inactivate the product. Note expiry
date on original packaging. Reseal container when not in use. Store out of
direct sunlight.
Handling: Not classified as dangerous goods for the purpose of road or rail
transport.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROL AND PERSONAL PROTECTION:
Ventilation: minimize spreading of dust. Where high concentrations of
airborne dust are present, a dust respirator conforming to AS1716 should be
worn.
Personal protective clothing: Use gloves and eye/face protection when
pouring this material. Use of long sleeves and long pants is strongly
recommended. Wash clothing after each work period.
Wash hands and face thoroughly when leaving work area of before ingestion
of food.
Exposure Limits: No exposure limits have been assigned to this product.
Where no exposure standard has been assigned, the recommended
exposure standard for dust in general shall be 10mg/m3 measured as
breathable dust. The exposure limit is expressed as a time weighted average
concentration over an 8 hour working shift for a 5 day working week, and is
the exposure standard recommended by Worksafe Australia.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Primary routes for long term exposure to this item are via inhalation or skin
contact. To prevent this type of exposure, please refer to Exposure Control
above.
Acute Effects:
Swallowed: Due to the ammonium phosphate and the ammoniacal salt in
the mixture, ingestion of very large amounts may cause diarrhea, nausea,
vomiting and cramps.
Eye: The salt concentration will be irritating to the eyes.
Skin: The salt concentration due to the ammoniacal salt and Diammonium
phosphate in the mixture will be irritating to any open cuts or wounds.
Inhaled: If present as high concentrations of airborne dust, contact may
cause throat and nose irritation.
Chronic Effects:
Inhaled: Prolonged and frequent inhalation of vapours or mists of the dry
powder material may result in some persons becoming allergic.
Long term Skin Contact: Prolonged and frequent skin contact with the dry
powder material may result in some persons becoming allergic.

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
This material is fully biodegradable in soil or water.

13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Container Disposal: Containers should be thoroughly rinsed with water
immediately when empty and dispose of in approved landfill site.
Spills: Dissolve spills up to approx 10kg in water and flush to drains. For
larger spills, collect spilled material and dispose of spilled material in
approved landfill site.
