Section 2. Hazards Identification
Emergency overview
WARNING !
HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED.
Toxic if swallowed. Do not breathe vapor or mist. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with
eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.

prescribed safety precautions, including the use of proper personal protective equipment.

Severely corrosive to the eyes. Causes severe burns.

Severely corrosive to the skin. Causes severe burns.

Inhalation May give off gas, vapor or dust that is very irritating or corrosive to the respiratory system.
Exposure to decomposition products may cause a health hazard. Serious effects may be delayed
following exposure.
Ingestion Toxic if swallowed. May cause burns to mouth, throat and stomach.
Prolonged or repeated contact with skin or mucous membrane may result in irritation symptoms,

such as redness, blistering, dermatitis etc. Repeated or prolonged exposure to spray or mist may
produce respiratory tract irritation leading to frequent attacks of bronchial infection.

Get medical attention immediately. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water, occasionally lifting the upper

Put on appropriate personal protective equipment (see section 8). Stop leak if without risk. Dilute with water
