HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION

ACUTE EFFECTS:

Eye : Solution may irritate the eyes.

Skin : Contact with the skin may result in irritation. Repeated or prolonged skin contact
may cause dermatitis.

Inhaled : Inhalation of vapour may irritate the respiratory tract.

Swallowed : Ingestion of large volumes may cause nausea and vomiting.


FIRST AID:

Eye : Immediately irrigate the eyes continuously with water for at least 15minutes.
Retract eyelids.

Skin : Wash affected areas with soap and water.

Inhaled : Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical advice if effects persist.

Swallowed : In the event of accidental ingestion, rinse mouth with water. Contact a doctor or
Poisons Information Centre.

Toxicity Data : No data.


PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Exposure Standards : Threshold Limit Value(TLV) is unknown. OHSA Permissible Exposure
Limit is unknown.

Engineering Controls: Use with adequate ventilation.

Personal Protection : No specific requirement. However, it is good industrial practice to wash skin
and hands thoroughly after handling any chemical and before eating,

SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION

Storage and Transport: High density polyethylene containers, 1 & 5Litre. Protect from physical
damage.

Spills and Disposal : Absorb major spills on sand, earth or inert material. Collect and seal in a
labelled container for disposal. Refer to the appropriate Waste Disposal
Authority. Dispose of empty containers at an approved landfill.

Fire/Explosion Hazard: If involved in a fire, cool containers by using water spray. Use CO 2,
dry chemical or foam to extinguish.
