HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
ACUTE EFFECTS:
Eye : Product may irritate the eyes.
Skin : Contact with the skin may cause irritation. Repeated or prolonged skin contact
may cause dermatitis.
Inhaled : Inhalation of vapour may irritate the mucous membrane and respiratory tract.
Swallowed : Ingestion of large volumes may cause gastric irritation, nausea or vomiting.
FIRST AID:
Eye : Immediately irrigate the eyes continuously with water for at least 15minutes
with eyelids retracted. Seek medical attention.
Skin : Wash affected areas with copious amounts of soap and water.
Inhaled : Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical advice if effects persist.
Swallowed : In the event of accidental ingestion, and if more than 15 minutes from a
hospital, induce vomiting, preferably using IPECAC SYRUP APF. Seek
medical advice or contact Poisons Information Centre.
Toxicity Data : Oxfendazole: LD 50 (rats) > 6400 mg/kg.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Exposure Standards : Threshold Limit Value(TLV) is unknown. OHSA Permissible Exposure
Limit is unknown.
Engineering Controls : Use with adequate ventilation and away from all ignition sources.
Personal Protection : Avoid skin contact and always wash skin and hands thoroughly after
handling chemicals and before eating, drinking or smoking.
Flammability : Non-flammable. Use in a well ventilated space.

SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
Storage and Transport: 42 g High Density Polyethylene dial-a-dose syringes ( 20 per carton).
Store away from ignition sources. Protect from physical damage.
Spills and Disposal: Soak up spills with inert material and dispose of at an approved Waste
Disposal area. Refer to the relevant State Disposal Authority. Wrap
empty syringe in paper and place in the garbage. If a large number of
syringes are to be disposed of at any one time, then disposal at a
approved landfill may be useful. Fibre carton may be recycled.
Fire/Explosion Hazard: Evacuate immediate area. Fire will cause decomposition of
chemicals in the product producing Carbon Dioxide and/or Carbon
monoxide. Cool containers by using water spray. Use CO2 , dry
chemical or foam to extinguish fires.
