IV. FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD DATA
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flash Point: 257oF (Marcusson)
Flammable Limits in Air-Lower: Not Determined
Flammable Limits in Air-Upper: Not Determined
NFPA Code: None
Extinguishing Media: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, wat
Fire Fighting Procedures-Special: Use self contained breathing apparatus
Unusual Fire and Explosion Haz.: The product can form an explosive dust/
air mixture. Avoid dust formation and control ignition sources; employ
grounding, venting and explosion relief provisions in accord with accepted
engineering practices in process operations capable of generating dust and/or
static electricity. Warning: Conductive (or anti-static) package. This
applies to product packaged in fused lined fiber drums, loose carbon-black
filled fiber drums, or super sacks/bulk bags. When emptying contents, use
proper grounding techniques. Failure to use proper grounding techniques may
result in build-up of hazardous electrostatic charges which could cause flash
fire or explosion when contents are emptied into a flammable atmosphere.
Non conductive package and/or liner. This applies to product
packaged in boxes, loose polyethylene-lined fiber drums or plastic pails.
Empty only into inert or non-flammable atmosphere. Emptying contents into a
non-inertatmosphere where flammable vapors may be present could cause flash
fire or explosion due to possible electrostatic discharge.

Incompatibility: None known
Hazardous Decomposition Prods.: Thermal decomposition and burning may produce
carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides.
Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VI. SPILL/LEAK PROCEDURES
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spill Procedures: Prewet with water to avoid dust formation.
Sweep or vacuum and place into closable container for disposal. Wear
protective equipment specified below.
Waste Disposal Methods: Dispose in accordance with all federal, state and local
regulations.

exposure with approx 40% of particles <7 microns
Signs and symptoms
of exposure-acute: May cause eye and skin irritation. Inhalation
may cause irritation of nasal and respiratory tract.
Signs and symptoms
of exposure-chronic: No identified health effects.
Medical conditions aggravated
by exposure: Skin condition.
