SECTION IV - FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS
Flash Point: <-50酶C (-58酶F)
Flammable Limits in Air (% by volume):
LEL: 3.9% UEL: 16.9
Extinguishing Media:
Water spray, water fog, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or alcohol foam.
Hazardous Decomposition Products:
This material can be decomposed by high temperatures (open flames and
glowing metal surfaces) forming hydrofluoric acid and possibly carbonyl
fluoride.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures:
These procedures are for fires that occur when large quantities of product
are involved. When single containers or small amounts of product are
invovled, the fire fighting procedures will depend on the total situation
and other materials involved in the fire.
Keep containers cool with water spray. If gas exiting containers ignites,
self-contained breathing apparatus is required.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards:
Water may be ineffective to extinguish fire. Aerosol cans may explode from
internal pressure build-up when exposed to extreme heat. Water may be used
to cool containers and prevent explosion.
SECTION V - HEALTH HAZARD DATA
EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:
INHALATION: Inhalation of high concentrations of vapor is harmful and may
cause heart irregularities, unconsciousnes, or death. Overexposure by
inhalation may include nonspecific discomfort, such as nausea, headache, or
weakness; or temporary nervous system depression with anesthetic effects
such as dizziness, headache, confusion, incoordination, and loss of
consciousness. Higher exposures (>20%) may cause temporary lung irritation
effects with cough, discomfort, difficulty breathing, or shortness of
breath; high exposure may also cause temporary alteration of the heart's
electrical activity with irregular pulse, palpitations, or inadequate
circulation, or abnormal kidney function as detected by laboratory tests.
Gross exposure may be fatal. Intentional misuse or deliberate inhalation
may cause death without warning. Vapor reduces oxygen available for
breathing and is heavier than air.

Individuals with preexisting diseases of the central nervous or
cardiovascular system may have increased susceptibility to the toxicity of
excessive exposure.
Note to physicians: Because of possible disturbances of cardiac rhythm,
catecholamine drugs, such as epinephrine, should be used with special
caution only in situations of emergency life support.
SKIN CONTACT: Liquid contact can cause frostbite.
INGESTION: Ingestion is not considered a potential route of exposure.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES:
Inhalation:
If high concentrations are inhaled, immediately remove to fresh air. Keep
person calm. If not breathing, give artifical respiration. If breathing is
difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.
Eye or Skin Contact:
EYE: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at
least 15 minutes. Call a physician.
SKIN: In case of contact, immediately flush skin with plenty of water for
at least 15 minutes. Treat for frostbite, if necessary, by genetly warming
affected area.
Ingestion: Ingestion is not considered a potential route of exposure.
SECTION VI - REACTIVITY DATA
Hazardous Polymerization: Will not occur.
Stability: This product is stable under normal household use conditions.
Incompatibility: Incompatible with alkali or alkaline earth metals:
powdered aluminum,
zinc, berylium, and similar powdered metals.
SECTION VII - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURE
Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled:
Note: Review fire fighting measures and handling procedures before
proceeding with cleanup. Use appropriate personal protective equipment
during cleanup.
If a spill can cause a concentration in excess of 1,000 ppm, remove ignition
sources and prevent further leakage. Evacuate area. Ventilate area,
expecially low places where heavy vapors might collect. Wear self-contained
breathing apparatus.

If this product is spilled and not recovered, or is recovered as a waste for
treatment or disposal, the CERCLA reportable quantity is 100 lbs. (The
waste is ignitable.)
Waste Disposal Method:
Incinerate or remove to a permitted waste facility. Comply with federal,
state, and local regulations.
The material may be a RCRA hazardous waste upon disposal due to the
ignitability characteristic.
RCRA Hazardous Waste ID Number: D001
SECTION VIII - PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TO USE
Respiratory Protection:
None required during normal household use.
If workplace exposure limits are exceeded, a suitable NIOSH or OSHA
respirator is recommended; self-contained breathing apparatus is required if
large releases occur during industrial use or storage.
Ventilation:
Normal ventilation for standard manufacturing procedures is generally
adequate. Local exhaust should be used when large amounts are released.
Mechanical exhaust should be used in low or enclosed places.
Protective Gloves:
No protection required for normal household use when spray is not directed
at skin surfaces.
Impervious gloves should be worn when handling the liquid or if direct spray
is expected to contact the skin.
Eye Protection:
Wear safety glasses or goggles when possibility of direct eye contact
exists.
Other Protective Equipment: None.
SECTION IX - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storage:
This product is classified as a Level 1 aerosol in accordance with the
National Fire Protection Association Manufacturing and Storage of Aerosol
Products Code.

Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Store in a cool dry area with ventilation suitable for storing materials
shown in Section II. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Keep away from
direct sunlight or any source of ignition. Do not store at temperatures.
above 120酶 F.
Other Precautions:
These are the standard hazard statements for non-flammable aerosol consumer
products:
CAUTION! Do not puncture or incinerate container. Do not expose to heat or
store at temperatures above 49酶C (120酶 F). Keep out of reach of children.
Because of the expected use pattern and previous formulations, these
statements are also important:
Intentional misuse by deliberatly concentrating and inhaling contents may be
fatal. Use in a well-ventilated area. This product is not defined as
flammable by regulations of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, but the
product can be ignited under certain circumstances. Do not use near open
flame, sparking material, or any incandescent material.
NFPA Aerosol Storage Level Code: 1
