HEALTH HAZARDS:
Eyes: Will irritate on contact 鈥? wash out quickly
Skin: Brief contact is non-hazardous. Repeated or prolonged contact may cause irritation.
Ingestion: Not toxic, but in large amounts can cause G.I. Tract disturbances.
Inhalation: Dust can cause irritation of mucus membrane, coughing, sneezing and difficulty
with breathing; may aggravate asthma.
SIGNS/SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE: Eye irritation and/or sneezing, coughing and difficulty
breathing.
CARCINOGENICITY: Ingredients not listed as carcinogenic in NTP or IARC listings, Not
OSHA regulated.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:

Eyes: Flush immediately with water for 15 minutes. See physician if irritation persists.
Skin: Wash gently with mild soap/detergent and flowing water after handling. Wash
contaminated clothing before reuse.
Ingestion: For small amounts drink plenty of water. More than a mouthful should be purged
by vomiting, but only if victim is conscious. Get medical help.
Inhalation: Help victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen and seek medical
attention.
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Not normally needed. If product is used in a manor that
creates dust, use a NIOSH approved respirator to eliminate exposure.
VENTILATION: Mechanical ventilation may be required is product is used indoors in a manor
that creates dust.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES/CLOTHING: Rubber or plastic recommended if repeated or
prolonged contact is expected.
EYE PROTECTION: Chemical splash goggles are recommended where dusting is expected.
Safety glasses suffice otherwise.
WORK PRACTICES: Use good chemical hygiene practices when handling this product.
Reseal partially used packages. Wash hands after handling and before eating. Wash soiled
clothing before reuse.
SPILLS: Avoid creating dust when cleaning up. Scoop, shovel or sweep to labeled containers
for recycling/salvage if not contaminated by other material.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Dispose of this material in accordance with all federal, state
and local laws. Laws may vary from state to state.
PRECAUTIONS IN STORING AND HANDLING: Avoid storage in moist or wet areas or in
areas where food stuff is stored. Store out of the reach of children.
