*Suitable: Loaded Stream Fog: Alcohol Fog (desirable for Water Soluble Solvents):
Carbon Dioxide: Halogenated Extinguishing Agent: Dry Chemical

Hazardous decomposition products (products causing hazardous decomposition)
Carbon Dioxide: Carbon Monoxide
Special Fire-fighting procedures: It is desirable to use alcohol-type foam liquid for water soluble solvent. Because of
defoaming, it is not available: Protein Foam Concentrate: Fluoroprotein Foam
Concentrate:
Aqueous Film Foaming Concentrate; Synthetic Foam Concentrate. Abundant water
spray can be used to dilute spills and render them incombustible to extinguish fire
and to cool closed containers exposed to fire. Its vapors are heavier than air and can
flow a considerable distance along the surface to an ignition source and flash back.
Fire fighter should wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective
clothes when fighting fires.

28 day dietary toxicity: NOEL N/A mg/kg
Summary of
Risks: No specific hazard under normal conditions.
Very low toxicity as measures in animal studies.
First Aid *Skin Contact: Immediately flush the site of contact with plenty of water. In case of contact, large
quantities or if the site stings or blisters form, consult a physician immediately.
*Eye Contact: Immediately flush with clean running water for at least 15 minutes and consult an
ophthalmologist.
*Inhalation: Immediately carry the victim to a place where fresh air is available and keep the
victim warm and quiet. If abnormal respiration is observed, artificial respiration and
oxygen should be administered by a qualified specialist. Send for or take to a
physician.
*Ingestion: Consult a physician for first aid. Until the time of examination by a physician, give
milk or water (4-5 cups for adults) to the victim in order to dilute the substance.
Then, force the victim to vomit. In case of clouding of consciousness or
unconsciousness, do not give anything.
Special Protection Information: Wear protective gloves, face shields and impervious clothes to prevent skin contact
Skin contact may occur. Do not wear contaminated clothes. Eye wash stations and
safety showers should be readily available in areas where the substance is used or
handled. Avoid the use of contact lenses because drops of the substance, upon
entering the eye, may be absorbed by them and cause corneal corrosion. Avoid
prolonged or repeated contact.
