Toxic. Toxic if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Cycloheximide may be fatal

Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Irritant to skin, dermatitis, and mucous membranes. Irritating effect to eye. Allergic
reactions in hypersensitive persons. Symptoms of poisoning may even occur after several hours; therefore medical
observation is necessary for at least 48 hours after the accident.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Possible risk of irreversible effects. Irritation, nausea,
vomiting diarrhea, tremors, salivation and melena are signs of overexposure.
General Information: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Remove breathing apparatus only

Procedures:
Ingestion: If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Seek medical
attention immediately.
Inhalation: Supply fresh air or oxygen. Seek medical attention immediately. In case of
unconsciousness, place patient on side position for transportation.
Eye Contact: Rinse opened eye for at least 15 minutes under running water, lifting upper and lower
lids. Seek medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.


Section VII 鈥? Precautions for Safe Handling and Use
Accidental Release Measures: Ventilate spill area. Wear suitable protective clothing. Keep respiratory protective device
available. Remove contaminated clothing immediately. In case of fire, use sand, carbon dioxide or powdered
extinguishing agent. Never use water. Avoid inhalation, contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.

Waste Disposal Method: Dispose in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
This product should be disposed of in a special hazardous waste collection container properly labeled.
Handling and Storing: Keep container tightly closed. Protect from moisture. Store away from oxidizing, acidic agents,
and alkali material (caustic). Keep receptacle tightly sealed. Store only in the original receptacle. Containers of this
material may be hazardous when empty since they retain product residues.
Other Precautions: Prevent formation of dust. Do not breathe dust. Ensure good ventilation / exhaustion at the
workplace. Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure.
