2 . EMERGENCY OVERVIEW

Emergency and
First Aid Procedures

Ingestion : If ingestion is substantial and if the patient is alert, consideration may be given for inducing
vomiting upon the advice of a Health Care Professional . Treatment should be supportive and
symptomatic . Seek medical attention if any signs of sedation occur, especially with
infants and children .
Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothing . Rinse exposed area with mild soap and water. Seek the advice
of a Health Care Professional if irritation persists .
Eye Contact : Flush eyes thoroughly with large amounts of water . Seek the advice of a Health Care
Professional if irritation persists.
Remove to well ventilated area . Seek the advice of a Health Care Professional if irritation occurs .
Inhalation :

Effects of Overexposure

Ingestion : May cause drowsiness, disorientation, sedation, headache, nausea, reduction of body
temperature, slowed heart rate, slowed respiration and hypotension .
Skin Contact: May cause minor irritation .
May cause minor burning, stinging and redness of eye and transient dilation of pupils .
Eye Contact :
This is not an expected route of exposure . May cause minor irritation of the respiratory tract .
