Section 3: Hazardous Ingredients/Identity Information
Emergency Overview
Caution! To the best of our knowledge the toxicological properties of this material have not been
thoroughly investigated. May be fatal if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin. Material is
extremely destructive to tissue of mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract.

Target Organs Behavioral, central nervous system.
Potential Health Effects
Eye Causes severe eye irritation and eye burns.
Skin Toxic in contact with skin. Causes severe skin irritation.
Ingestion May be fatal if swallowed. Causes gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and
diarrhea.
Inhalation May cause severe irritation of the respiratory tract with sore throat, burns, coughing,
shortness of breath and delayed lung edema.
Chronic Behavioral - convulsions or effect on seizure threshold. Highly toxic cholinesterase
inhibitor. Exposure can cause neurotoxic effects.

Section 4: First Aid Measures
Eye In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water for at
least 15 minutes. Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with fingers.
Call a physician.
Skin In case of contact, immediately flush skin with copious amounts of water for at
least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a
physician. Discard contaminated clothes and shoes.
Ingestion If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call a
physician.
Inhalation If inhaled, remove to fresh air, immediately. If not breathing give artificial
respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.
Notes to Physician Treat symptomatically and supportively.

Section 5: Fire Fighting Measures
General Information As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective
clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes. During a fire, irritating and
highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or
combustion.
Extinguishing Media In case of fire use carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or appropriate
foam. Do not use water!
Autoignition Temperature Not available
Flash Point Not available
NFPA Rating Not published. Explosion Limits, Lower: Not available. Upper: Not available

Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
General Information Evacuate area, wear self-contained breathing apparatus, rubber boots and
heavy rubber gloves.
Spills/Leaks Sweep up, place in a bag and hold for waste disposal; avoid raising dust;
ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete.

Section 7: Handling and Storage
Handling Avoid ingestion and inhalation. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and
clothing. Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
Storage Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Refrigerate (2-8掳C). Store dry. Protect from
light. Protect from humidity (material is hygroscopic). Contact with water liberates
extremely flammable gases.

Section 8: Control Measures
Engineering Controls Mechanical exhaust required. Safety shower and eye bath. Use only in a
chemical fume hood.
Exposure Limit OEL = MAK
Personal Protective Equipment
Eyes Wear appropriate protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles as described
by OSHA's eye and face protection regulations in 29 CFR 1910.133 or European
Standard EN166.
Skin Wear compatible chemical-resistant gloves and clothing to prevent skin
exposure.
Hand Wear compatible chemical-resistant gloves to prevent skin exposure.
Clothing Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent exposure.
Respirator Wear a NIOSH/MSHA or European Standard EN 149 approved full-face airline
respirator in the positive pressure mode with emergency escape provisions.
