First aid: If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or hospital quickly. Vitamin K1 is antidotal.
Advice to doctor: Induce vomiting. Vitamin K1 can be used as an antidote, if patient shows signs of
poisoning (bleeding, haemorrhage).
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Exposure Standards: There is no exposure standard allocated.
Engineering Controls: The product formulation dilutes the concentration of pindone.
Personal Protection: When preparing the bait wear elbow-length rubber or PVC gloves. Wear coveralls.
If product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and water.
Personal Hygiene: After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands and gloves thoroughly
with soap and water.
Flammability: Not flammable.
SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
Storage and Transport: No special storage or transport requirements are necessary. The product is a
Schedule 6 poison.
Spills and Disposal: While wearing rubber gloves, mop-up excess liquid using absorbent sponge or
towel. Dispose of contaminated towel by incineration or burial below 0.5 metres.
Rinse away residue with excess water. Incinerate or bury excess product below 0.5
metres.
Fire/Explosion Hazards: The product is not flammable and will not autoignite.
