Harmful by inhalation. Irritating to eyes and skin.
Prolonged and repeated inhalationof solvents may cause permanent damage to brain, liver and kidneys.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION
The product is not combustile.
ENVIRONMENT
Not regarded as dangerous for the environment.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
GENERAL
Immediately move the patient from the source of exposure. General first aid. Move to fresh air, keep the
patient warm and at rest. If unconscious, but breathing, maintain open airways and place in stable
position on one side. Give artificial respiration if breathing has stopped.
INHALATION
See 鈥淕eneral鈥?. Seek mediacal attention if any signs of unconsciousness or discomfort develop.
SKIN CONTACT
Remove contaminated clothing, watches etc. immediately rinse water. Use moisturizing skin cream to
replace lost skin moisture. Get medical advice.
EYE CONTACT
Flush immediately with a soft jet of lukewarm water. Also under the eyelids. Remove any contact lenses.
Continue to flush for at least 15 minutes. Get medical advice.
INGESTION
DO NOT INDUCE VOMITTING! Give 1-2 glasses of water to drink if the affected person is fully conscious.
Get medical attention.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
Consider gastric lavage after intubations if quantities large enough to cause systemic affects have been
swallowed. Intibate the patient due to possibility of foaming and aspiration to the lungs.
5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

Product is a fire-extinguishing agent.

The product is not combustile.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE FIGHTERS
General: Evacuate all personnel, use protective equipment for fire fighting. Use self-contained breathing
apparatus when the product is involved in fire.
OTHER INFORMATION
General: protect against heat, use water to cool containers. Move containers from fire area if it can be
done without risk. Fight fire from a well-protected position.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Provide good ventilation. Use personel equipment (see section 8). Keep unauthorized personnel away.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Dike with absorbent material and prevent spreading and release to water sources and sewers.
METHODS FOR CLEANING UP
Stop leak if possible without risk. Spillage may be pumped up or absorbed with dry, inert material such
as sand, earth etc. The waste must be kept in closed, labelled containers and treated as described in
section 13 (Disposal). Finally, flush the area with water.
OTHER INFORMATION
If pollution onshore warn the fire department, if pollution offshore warn the costal Radio (from boats) or
Hovendredningssentralen and Oljendirektorater (the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate).
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
HANDLING ADVICE
Provide good ventilation. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear necessary protective equipment.
When spraying, turn the nozzle away from the face and body. Avoid inhalation of spray.
STORAGE
Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, well-ventilated room, protected from direct sunlight. Store
above 0掳C.

EXPOSURE CONTROL
When evaluating exposure, consider suitable method for sampling, and evaluate if stationary or mobile
sampling is recommended. Good personal hygiene is important. Remove contaminated clothing. Eye
wash facilities and emergency shower must be available when handling this product. Provide good
ventilation.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
Use: combination cartridge A/P2 (organic gases and particulates). Wear self-contained breathing
apparatus or supplied-air respirator in workplaces where the oxygen level is insufficient.
EYE PROTECTION
Wear tight-fitting goggles or face shield if there is a possibility of splashes/ vapour formation.
HAND PROTECTION
Wear gloves of butyl rubber. Breakthrough time not determined as preparation. Change gloves often.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
GENERAL
Prolongedinhalation of solvents may cause chronic solvent intoxication. Spray may be harmful.
INHALATION
Harmful by inhalation. Inhalation of high vapour concentrations may cause symptoms such as mild
irritation, headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea and in serious cases unconsciousness.
SKIN CONTACT
Irritating to skin. Defats the skin.
EYE CONTACT
Vapour or splashes in the eye may cause irritation, redness, smarting and discomfort.
INGESTION
May cause some irritation to mouth, throat and stomach. Ingestion may cause the same effects as
inhalation. Foaming in the stomach may cause some of the product to enter the lungs. Vomiting could
cause irritation of mucous membrane.
