A lubricant for dental handpieces and prophy angles.

Section 2 鈥? Composition/ Information on Ingredients
No hazardous ingredients. The product is a blend of highly-refined mineral oils.


Section 3 - Health Identification
Not considered a health hazard under normal conditions of use. Contains mineral oil for which
exposure limits for oil mist apply. Prolonged and/or frequent exposure can result in de-fatting of the
skin, particularly at elevated temperatures. This can lead to irritation and possibly dermatitis,
especially under conditions of poor personal hygiene.
Primary Route(s) of Entry: Inhalation and ingestion.
Carcinogen: ARC Program- No IARC Program- No OSHA Program- No
Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: None known.


Section 4 - First Aid Measures
Not expect to give rise to an acute hazard under normal conditions of use. Treat symptomatically.
Eyes: Flush with tepid water for at least 15 minutes. If persistent irritation occurs, seek medical
attention.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected area with soap and water. If persistent
irritation occurs, obtain medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Wash out mouth with water and seek medical attention.
Inhalation: In the event of dizziness or nausea, remove person to fresh air. If symptoms persist, seek
medical attention.

Extinguishing Media: Foam and dry chemical powder. Carbon dioxide, sand, or earth may be used for
small fires only.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures: DO NOT use a water jet as an extinguishing media.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Not classified as flammable, but will burn. Combustion is likely
to give rise to a complex mixture of airborne solid and liquid particulates and gases, including carbon
monoxide, oxides or sulfur, and unidentified organic and inorganic compounds.

Physical State: Liquid at ambient temperature.
Appearance and Odor: Clear with an odor characteristic to mineral oil.

Stability: Stable
Conditions to Avoid: Extremes of temperature and direct sunlight
Incompatibility/ Materials to Avoid: Strong oxidizing agents
Hazardous Decomposition Products: None expected to form during normal storage.


Section 8 鈥? Accidental Release, Disposal, and Ecological Information
Spill Response: Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear impermeable gloves and boots. Absorb
liquid with sand or earth. Prevent from spreading or entering into drains, ditches, or waterways.
Waste Disposal Method: Dispose of in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local
regulations.
Ecological, General: Liquid under most environmental conditions. Product floats on water. If it enters
soil, it will adhere to soil particles and will not be mobile. Major constituents are expected to be
inherently biodegradable, but the product contains components that may persist in the environment.
Product has the potential to bio-accumulate.


Section 9 鈥? Exposure Controls/ Personal Protection
Eye Protection: Wear safety glasses or full-face shield if splashes are likely to occur.
Respiratory Protection: Not normally required
Ventilation Recommendations: Use local exhaust if a risk of inhalation of vapors, mist, or aerosols
exists.
Skin Protection: PVC or nitrile gloves are recommended
Other: Wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking, and going to the toilet.

Section 10 鈥? Storage and Handling
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Use properly labeled and closeable containers.
Avoid direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong oxidizing agents. Store between 32掳F (0掳C) and 122掳F
(50掳C).
Handling: Avoid making product into a mist or aerosol and then breathing it in.

Toxicological Information: Acute toxicity (oral) = LD50 expected to be 2,000-mg/kg
Acute toxicity (dermal) = LD50 expected to be 2,000-mg/kg
Eye irritant = expected to be a slight irritant

Respiratory irritant = If mists inhaled, slight irritation of the respirator
