Summit Syntenal Motor Oils have been designed and formulated using the finest synthetic base stocks available.
These base stocks have been fortified with an additive system employing the latest in additive technology. The
superior quality of Summit Motor Oils insures excellent performance in diesel or gasoline engines.
Summit Motor Oils are manufactured to meet the demands of today's hotter running, high performance engines,
giving protection under demanding conditions. There are many excellent petroleum oils available in today's market;
however, while they are good products, they do not possess the favorable characteristics found in a quality synthetic
oil. Some of these characteristics are as follows:
鈥? Excellent Natural Lubricity - This natural lubricity along with the anti-wear additive reduces
damaging friction.
鈥? High Viscosity Index - This feature reduces the thinning-out effect of oil at elevated temperature.
鈥? Long Life Lubricant - Because synthetics can tolerate higher temperatures, there is less oxidation
and less possibility of forming corrosive acids.
鈥? Low Pour Point - Synthetics have very low pour points which allow better low temperature fluidity.
This feature provides better lubrication at start-up, thereby reducing start-up wear.
鈥? Excellent Anti-Wear Properties - Synthetics offer excellent natural lubricity and when coupled with
anti-wear additives, these lubricants give additional protection in heavy loaded areas such as valve
trains, etc.
鈥? Extended Drain Intervals - In gasoline engines, up to three times longer service than a standard
petroleum oil.
