Water Saver Unit
Water Saver Control
Product Description
The Water Saver Unit (WSU) is designed to conserve water during plate processing. It can be conveniently
retrofitted to many Kodak processors (see list below). Upon installation, the rinse section is converted into
an internal rinse recirculation unit. The water saver will open the water solenoid when plates pass over the
entrance sensor during processing. The amount of time the water solenoid stays on is adjustable from 1-
999 seconds.
Environmental Benefits
The WSU is designed to conserve the amount of water used in a typical plate making operation. The water
saver is ideal for those who want to save money on water and sewer bills. It can also be a very useful tool
for minimizing the effluent for printers who cannot dispose their waste to a septic tank system.
Applications
The water saver can be used with the following processors:
鈥? Current Quartz (G&J) Processors (one exception, see below)
鈥? NES Worldwide processors (NE28 to the full size NE1650)
The water saver CANNOT be used to the following processors:
鈥? G&J Quartz MKIII style processor
鈥? G&J Mercury News
鈥? G&J Raptor
鈥? Egraf processors
