The only hazards identified with this product are those associated with the buffers from which it
is lyophilized. This product contains sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, and disodium ethylene
diamine tetraacetate. Please refer to the material safety data sheets for these compounds for
appropriate hazard information.
SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IF MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED
Wear protective equipment.
Dissolve in water or ethanol, then adsorb on sand or vermiculite and place in closed
containers for disposal.
Wash spill site after material pickup is complete.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD
Catalysts and expensive metals should be recovered for reuse or recycling.
Observe all Federal, State and local environmental regulations.
