ACUTE
SWALLOWED: Low toxicity product.
EYE: May cause some irritation which should cease on removal of product.
SKIN: Not a skin sensitiser or irritant.
INHALED: Not an inhalation hazard under normal conditions of use. However the
inhalation of mists and sprays may cause irritation to the respiratory tract.
CHRONIC May cause slight skin irritation, especially with prolonged or repeated exposure
.

FIRST AID
SWALLOWED: Do not make the casualty vomit.
If unconscious do not give anything by mouth. Check for breathing and pulse, if
present, place in the recovery position and obtain medical attention.
If conscious rinse out the mouth with water. Give 400 ml of water to drink
immediately and repeated drinks of water at a rate of a cupful every 10 minutes.
Obtain medical attention immediately.

EYE: Irrigate the eye with water for 15 minutes. If there is any irritation obtain medical
attention immediately.

SKIN: Wash contaminated area with soap and water. Contaminated clothing should be
washed before reuse.

INHALED: If mists or sprays are inhaled, remove the casualty to fresh air and clear any
blocked airways. Keep the casualty at rest and seek medical advice.

ADVICE TO DOCTOR
No specific advice exists for this product, treat patient symptomatically.



6. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

ENGINEERING CONTROLS Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.

PERSONAL PROTECTION
Respiratory protection No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required.
(Use respirator approved for the handling of hydrocarbon solvents
when handling in a confined space or if mists and sprays are likely
to be inhaled.)
Hand protection PVC oil/chemical resistant gloves are recommended
Eye protection Goggles
Skin and body protection Lightweight protective clothing. Chemical resistant apron.

FLAMMABILITY Product does not pose a flammability hazard.



7. SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
HANDLING Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst handling the product. Wash hands after use.
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and launder before reuse. This type of
product creates a hazard when spilled due to its slippery nature.
STORAGE No special storage conditions required. Avoid extremes of temperature.

Personal precautions Use personal protective equipment. Breathing apparatus required in
a fire situation only.
Environmental precautions Do not flush onto surface water or sanitary sewer system.
Methods for cleaning up Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid
binder, universal binder, sawdust). Sweep up and shovel into
suitable containers for disposal .

DISPOSAL Refer to the State waste management authority.
