Effects of Overexposure:
Eye Contact: Mild, non-persistent, conjunctival irritation.
Acute:
Skin Contact: Non-irritant to intact skin. Slight irritant, on prolonged contact, to abraded
skin.
Skin Absorption: None via intact skin.
Ingestion: May produce depression, sedation and confusion. After prolonged
exposure, may produce non-persistent acne-like skin rash.
Chronic: Ingestion: Repeated ingestion may cause bromism, emaciation, depression, mental
deterioration, with acne-like skin rash.
Mutagenicity: Not Mutagenic.

Emergency and First Aid procedures:
Eye Holding the eyelids apart, flush eyes promptly with copious flowing water for at least 15

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Precautions to be taken Keep containers tightly closed. Store in a dry, cool location, away from BrF
in handling and storage: acids, and alkaloidal and heavy metal salts.
Other precautions: Safety shower and eye bath should be provided. Do not eat, drink or smoke
until after-work ablution.

in this product鈥?) may react with certain other substances in pool, hot tub, and spa waters
from bromates. Bromates are known by the State of California to cause cancer when
administered by the oral (drinking or ingesting) route. Read and follow label directions and
use care when handling or using this product.

This warning is provided pursuant to Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic
Enforcement Act of 1986, chapter 6.6 of the California Health and Safety Code, which
requires the Governor of California to publish a list of chemicals 鈥渒nown to the state to cause
