This product is considered flam m able and is a fire hazard. It supports com bustion and decom poses under fire
conditions to give off toxic m aterials. Do not uses welding or cutting torch on or near any container of this m aterial,
even if em pty, because an explosion could occur. Do not use, pour, spill, or store near heat, spark sources, or open
flam es. Com bustion products of the uncured rubber are toxic. There are no unusual hazards with the cured
m aterial.

FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES:
Use standard fire fighting techniques to extinguish fires involving this m aterial. Use water spray, dry chem icals, or
carbon dioxide. Vapors from com bustion are toxic and severely irritating to the respiratory tract and m ay cause
breathing difficulty. As in any fire, prevent hum an exposure to fire, sm oke, fum es, or products of com bustion.
Evacuate non-essential personnel from the fire area. Fire fighters should wear full-face, self-contained breathing
apparatus and im pervious protective clothing. If not leaking, keep fire-exposed containers cool with a water spray to
prevent rupture due to excessive heat. High pressure water hose m ay spread product from broken containers
increasing contam ination or fire hazard. Vapors from com bustion of the uncured m aterial are toxic.

This product contains a petroleum distillate. Exposure to the vapors of this m aterial m ay cause central nervous
system depression. Severe exposure has been known to cause irritation of the respiratory tract. Signs and
sym ptom s of overexposure include dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea, dyspnea, and derm atitis (1). This
product releases cYCLOHEXYLAMINE upon m oisture curing. Exposure to cYCLOHEXYLAMINE m ay cause
irritation of the eyes, m ucous m em branes, and skin.

SECTION VII - EM ERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES

EYE CONTACT:
In case of contact, im m ediately flush eyes with large am ounts of running water for at least 15 m inutes while
rem oving contam inated clothing and shoes. Hold eyelids apart to ensure rinsing of the entire surface of the eye and
lids with water. Get m edical attention im m ediately. W ash clothing before reuse.

SKIN CONTACT:
Flush skin well with water and wash well with water and soap. Obtain m edical attention if irritation occurs.

INGESTION:
If swallowed, give several glasses of water but do not induce vom iting. If vom iting does occur, give fluids again.
Have m edical personnel determ ine if vom iting or evacuation of stom ach is necessary. Do not give anything
by m outh to an unconscious or convulsing person.

INHALATION:
If inhaled, rem ove to fresh air. Seek m edical attention if respiratory irritation occurs or breathing becom es difficult.

SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORM ATION

GENERAL:
The recom m endations described in this section are provided as general guidance for m inim izing exposure when
handling this product. Because conditions of use will vary depending upon custom er applications, specific safe
handling procedures should be developed by a person knowledgeable of the intended use, conditions, and
equipm ent. During the developm ent of safe handling procedures, consideration should be given to the need for
cleaning of equipm ent and piping system s to render them non- hazardous before m aintenance and repair activities
are perform ed.

ENGINEERING CONTROLS:
In those cases where engineering controls are indicated by the use conditions, the following traditional exposure
control techniques m ay be used to effectively m inim ize em ployee exposure: local exhaust ventilation, enclosed
system design, process isolation, and rem ote control in com bination with appropriate use of personal protective
equipm ent.

INGESTION:
All food should be kept in a separate area away from the storage/use location. Eating, drinking, and sm oking should
be prohibited in areas where there is a potential for significant exposure to this m aterial. Before eating, hands and
face should be thoroughly washed.

SKIN CONTACT:
Skin contact should be m inim ized through the use of gloves and suitable long-sleeved clothing selected with regard
for use condition exposure potential.
EYE CONTACT:
Eye contact should be avoided through the use of chem ical safety glasses, goggles or a face shield selected with
regard for use condition exposure potential.

INHALATION:
If use conditions generate airborne contam ination, the m aterial should be handled in an open (e.g. outdoor) or well
ventilated area. W here adequate ventilation is not available, use NIOSH-approved organic vapor respirators with
dust, m ist, and fum e filter to reduce exposure. W here exposure potential under the use conditions necessitates a
higher level of protection, use a positive-pressure, air-supplied respirator.

EXPOSURE LIMITS:
No exposure lim it has been established for this product, however, the following exposure lim its apply for product
constituents:

SECTION IX - REACTIVITY DATA
STABILITY - Stable under norm al conditions of use.

HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION - Hazardous polym erization cannot occur.

GENERAL - Hydrolysis slowly at am bient tem peratures, when exposed to m oist air, to
release cYCLOHEXYLAMINE. Solvent evaporation will also take place if
open to the air. Keep container closed to prevent exposure to air.

CONDITIONS TO AVOID - Avoid contact with incom patible m aterials.

SECTION X - SPILL AND LEAK PROCEDURES

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:
Make sure all personnel involved in the spill clean-up follow good industrial hygiene practices (refer to SECTION VII

vapor or aerosol should use a positive-pressure, self-contained breathing apparatus, or a positive-pressure,
supplied-air respirator with escape pack. Sm all spills can be handled routinely. Use adequate ventilation and wear
a NIOSH-approved respirator with dust, m ist, and fum e filter to prevent inhalation exposure. W ear protective
clothing to prevent skin and eye contact. Use the following procedures: Absorb spill with sand or Fuller's earth.
Sweep up and place in an appropriate chem ical waste container. Flush spill area with water. Observe all local,
state, and federal laws and regulations regarding disposal, spill, clean-up, rem oval, or discharge. In case of spill
em ergency, day or night, call CHEMTREC (800-424-9300).

W ASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:
Material that cannot be used or chem ically reprocessed should be disposed of at an approved facility in accordance
with any applicable regulations under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. NOTE: State and local
regulations m ay be m ore stringent than Federal.
