3 HAZARD IDENTIFICATION
Oxidising Contact with combustible materials may cause fire.
Harmful Harmful if swallowed. May be irritating to skin, nose and throat. Avoid contact and breathing dusts
and vapours.
4 FIRST AID MEASURES
Skin Contact: If contact with skin occurs, wash off excess chemical with soap and flush with cool water for at
least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing. If skin irritation persists, seek immediate medical
attention.
Eye contact: If contact with eyes occurs, immediately flush contaminated eye(s) with cool, gently flowing water
for at least 10 minutes, holding eyelid(s) open. Take care not to splash contaminated water into
the non-affected eye. Seek immediate medical attention.
Ingestion: If swallowed, drink large amounts of water. DO NOT induce vomiting. NEVER GIVE ANYTHING
BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON. Seek medical attention immediately.
Inhalation: If inhaled, remove individual to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, have trained person administer
oxygen. Seek medical attention immediately.

5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flammability: Application of heat promotes exothermic self decomposition and liberation
of hazardous gases.
Suitable extinguishers: Water fog.
Hazardous combustion products are: Decomposition liberates toxic chlorine gas.
Fire Fighting procedures: Use self contained breathing apparatus.
6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Use appropriate personal protective equipment as detailed in section 8.
Spillage鈥檚 and Leaks: Contain and absorb the spillage with inert material such as sand. Sweep up the spill and
place in clean, dry plastic containers including any contaminated soil. Dispose of product
in accordance with relevant local and national waste disposal legislation.
Wash site thoroughly with detergent and water
7 HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: Strong oxidising agent. Do not mix with other chemicals. Mix only with water. Never add
water to product. Always add product to water. Use clean dry dispensing equipment.
Storage: Keep this product in original, sealed container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well-
ventilated area. Keep this product and all other chemicals out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with: Other swimming pool/spa chemicals in their concentrated forms.
