Eyes: Can cause irritation, pain, tearing, reddening, swelling.
Skin: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause defatting, irritation, and dermatitis.
Inhalation: May cause irritation of the respiratory tract, experienced as nasal discomfort and discharge, coughing and accompanied by
chest pain.
Ingestion: Irritating to mouth, throat, and stomach. May cause dizziness, faintness, drowsiness, decreased awareness and
responsiveness. Possible aspiration hazard, may cause inflammation of the lungs.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get prompt medical attention.
Skin: Wash with soap and plenty of water. If s symptoms develop, seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If symptoms develop, seek immediate medical attention. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
Ingestion: DO NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Give small amount of water to dilute stomach content and if vomiting occurs, have victim lean forward to reduce risk of aspiration.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flash Point (TCC): 108 F/42 C Explosive Limits: Lower (LEL): 1% Upper (UEL): 25%
Flame Projection (Aerosol): NA
Hazardous Products of Combustion: When strongly heated, as in a fire, this product may produce oxides of carbon, hydrogen
chloride, and possible traces of phosgene.
Fire and Explosion Hazards: Chlorinated solvents involved in fires can decompose to hydrogen chloride and possible traces of
phosgene.
Extinguishing Media: Water fog; Carbon dioxide; Dry chemical; Alcohol foam
Fire Fighting Instructions: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus w/full protective clothing. Containers should be cooled with water
to prevent vapor pressure build up.
