SECTION 3 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: CAUTION! Removal of this product after use will result
in the generation of dust. If dry-sanded, exposure to dust may result in
build-up of material in eyes, ears, nose, and mouth which may cause
irritation.

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE - EYE CONTACT: May cause eye irritation.

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE - SKIN CONTACT: May dry skin.

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE - INHALATION: Vapor may irritate nose and upper
respiratory tract. The International Agency for Research on Cancer
(IARC)has determined that crystalline silica inhaled in the form of quartz
or crisobalite from occupational sources is carcinogenic to humans (Group 1
没 carcinogenic to humans). Refer to IARC Monograph 68, Silica, Some
Silicates and Organic Fibres (published in June 1997) in conjunction with
that use of these materials. The National Toxicology Program (NTP)
classifies respirable crystalline silica as 么known to be a human
carcinogen枚. Refer to the 9th Report on Carcinogens (2000). The American
Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) classifies silica,
quartz, as suspect human carcinogen (A2). Other data with possible
relevance to human health: There is some evidence that breathing
respirable crystalline silica or the disease silicosis is associated with
an increased incidence of significant disease endpoints such as scleroderma
(an immune system disorder manifested by fibrosis of the lungs, skin and
other internal organs) and kidney disease.

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE - INGESTION: None known.

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE - CHRONIC HAZARDS: Inhalation of dust may
result in pulmonary and respiratory damage. Prolonged or repeated
inhalation of dust may cause lung damage. Polygorskite fibers are
considered a suspect human carcinogen by the IARC. Risk to one's health
depends on level and duration of exposure. Respirable crystalline silica
is considered a human carcinogen (Group 1) by (IARC).

MEDICAL CONDITIONS WHICH MAY BE AGGRAVATED BY CONTACT: Asthma and
asthma-like conditions may worsen from prolonged and repeated exposure.

PRIMARY ROUTE(S) OF ENTRY: SKIN CONTACT INHALATION

SECTION 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

EYE CONTACT: Flush with large quantities of water until irritation
subsides.

SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water.

INHALATION: Remove to fresh air.

INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.

COMMENTS: Call 1-800-327-3874 if irritation persists or complications
arise from any of the above exposure.

SECTION 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES: Scrape up dried material and place into
containers.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION 7 - HANDLING AND STORAGE
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

HANDLING INFORMATION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Keep containers away
from excessive heating and freezing. Avoid skin and eye contact. Do not
inhale dusts of this product.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION 8 - EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

ENGINEERING CONTROLS: If dry-sanding, provide sufficient mechanical
ventilation to maintain exposure below PEL and TLV.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: If 8 hour exposure limit or value is exceeded for
any component, use an approved NIOSH/OSHA respirator. Consult your safety
equipment supplier and the OSHA regulation, 29 CFR 1910.134 for respirator
requirements. A respiratory protection program that meets OSHA 1910.134 and
ANSI Z88.2 requirements must be followed whenever workplace conditions
warrant a respirator's use. Use an approved NIOSH/OSHA respirator if dry
sanded.

EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses with side shields recommended.

SKIN PROTECTION: Gloves recommended for repeated or prolonged contact with
skin.

OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: None.

HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
