4. FIRST AID MEASURES (ACTION)
Skin contact: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated
clothing & shoes. Wash clothing before re-use. Seek medical advice if irriation persists.
Eye contact: Wash immediately with clean water for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical advice immediately.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth and throat thoroughly. Give about 1/2 pint of liquid to drink. Obtain immediate
medical advice. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING DUE TO THE DANGER OF ASPIRATION.
Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Transfer to hospital as
soon as possible.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing media: This product is water based and will not support combustion. Suitable extinguishing media for
the surrounding fire should be used.
Protection of fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin
and eyes.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions: Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective clothing - see section 8 of SDS.
Environmental precautions: Contain and collect the spillage and absorb onto sand earth or absorbant granules. Do not
allow to contaminate watercourses or rivers.
Clean-up procedures: In the event of spillage mop up bulk and dilute remainder to foul drain with water. Treat large
spillages as industrial waste.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling requirements: Do not mix with any material other than water, as directed. Wear suitable personal protective
equipment, as detailed in section 8. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
Storage conditions: Protect from extremes of temperature. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Suitable packaging: Must only be kept in original packaging.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Hand protection: Wear suitable acid resistant gloves. Take further advice from reputable glove maufacturer /
supplier regarding suitability /useful contact time of their recommended gloves.
Eye protection: Safety goggles or face shield should be worn if the product is used through high pressure
equipment or splashing is anticipated.
Skin protection: Waterproof overalls and shoes / boots should be worn if the product is used through high
pressure equipment or if splashing is anticipated.
Stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Conditions to avoid: Avoid extremes of temperature. May react with alkaline substances.
Materials to avoid: Do NOT mix with bleaches as this will liberate poisonous chlorine gas.
