SECTION IV -- FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD DATA
1.9% UEL = N/A-mixture
Flash point: Flammable Limits: LEL =
108掳F (T.C.C.) average
Extinguishing Media: Use water spray to cool fire exposed surfaces and to protect personnel. Isolate "fuel"
supply from fire. Use foam, or dry chemical. Use NFPA Class B Extinguishers.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Treat as any petroleum solvent fire. Avoid spray water directly into storage containers due to danger
of boilover. Avoid spreading liquid and fire by water. Wear full protective equipment including self-contained breathing apparatus.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Keep container closed and isolated from heat, electrical equipment, sparks and flame. This liquid
is volatile and gives off invisible vapors. Either the liquid or vapor may settler in low areas or travel some distance along the ground or
surface to ignition sources where they may ignite or explode. Empty drums should be completely drained, properly capped and properly
disposed of.

SECTION V -- PHYSICAL HAZARDS
Stable Elevated temperatures
Stability: Conditions to Avoid:
Incompatibility (Materials to Avoid): Avoid contact with strong acids and strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous Decomposition Products or Byproducts: None under normal conditions. Thermal decomposition may produce organic
acids, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.

Routes of entry: Inhalation?
HEALTH HAZARDS (1. Acute and 2. Chronic)
1. Causes skin irritation; prolonged skin contact may cause severe irritation. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Causes nose and throat
irritation. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. Reports have associated
repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvent with permanent brain and nervous system damage. 2. None known to
Hillyard.

SECTION VI -- HEALTH HAZARD DATA continued
Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Causes skin irritation. May cause nose and throat irritation. Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation,
nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Vapor harmful - overexposure may affect the brain or nervous system causing dizziness, headache or nausea.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Skin problems such as industrial dermatitis. Individuals with chronic respiratory
disorders such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, etc., may be adversely affected by exposure to any vapor or airborne particulate matter.
Emergency and First Aid Procedures: If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is
experienced, get medical assistance immediately. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water and get medical assistance
immediately; for eye contact immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician.

SECTION VII -- PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE
Steps To Be Taken In Case Material Is Released Or Spilled: If spilled, contain spilled material with sand or earth and remove with inert
absorbent and non-sparking tools. Do not use combustible materials such as sawdust. Remove all sources of ignition (flames, hot surfaces; electric,
static or friction sparks). Avoid breathing vapors. Ventilate area. Emptied containers may retain hazardous residue and explosive vapors. Keep away
from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not cut, puncture or weld on or near this container. Follow label warnings until container is thoroughly cleaned or
destroyed. Keep container closed when not in use. Do not store at temperatures over 100掳F. Do not let spilled or leaking material enter watercourse.
Notify authorities if liquid enters nearby water intakes. Notify local health and wildlife officials. Do not smoke when working with product. Do not
pick up solution with automatic scrubber or wet pick-up vacuum.
Waste Disposal Method: Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and unused contents in accordance with Federal, State and Local
regulations. Incinerate regulated quantities in an approved facility; do not incinerate closed container. EPA Hazardous Waste (per RCRA
Classification: Ignitable Liquid (40 CFR 261.21).
Precautions To Be Taken In Handling And Storing: Keep containers closed when not in use. Empty container may retain hazardous residue and
explosive vapors; do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill or grind on or near container. Follow label warnings until container is thoroughly
cleaned or destroyed.
Other Precautions: Keep away from heat and flame. Prevent build-up of vapors by opening all windows and doors to achieve cross-ventilation.
USE ONLY WITH ADEQUATE VENTILATION. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If
you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness or if air monitoring demonstrates vapor / mist levels are above applicable limits, wear an
appropriate, properly fitted respirator (NIOSH/MSHA approved) during and after application. Follow respirator manufacturer鈥檚 directions for
respirator use. Close container after each use. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not take internally.

SECTION VIII -- CONTROL MEASURES
Respiratory Protection (Specify Type): Wear appropriate, properly fitted respirator (NIOSH and MSHA approved) unless air monitoring
demonstrates vapor or mist levels are below applicable limits.
Ventilation: At least 10 air changes per hour recommended.
