Effects of Overexposure- CORROSIVE:
Conditions to Avoid: HARMFUL TO EYES: Causes severe eye damage or irritation with symptoms of
pain, redness, swelling of the conjunctiva and possible permanent corneal damage.
HARMFUL TO SKIN: Causes severe skin damage or irritation with symptoms of
pain, redness and chemical burns. Harmful contact may not cause immediate pain.
Repeated contact may cause a dermatitis. Harmful if absorbed through the skin.
HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED: Causes damage or chemical burns
to esophagus and mucous membranes with symptoms of pain, nausea, vomiting and
diarrhea. Aspiration of product into the lungs may occur during ingestion or
vomiting, resulting in lung injury.
HARMFUL IF INHALED: Breathing product vapor or mist may cause irritation
or damage of the respiratory tract, with symptoms of nasal discomfort and discharge
with chest pain and coughing.
Contains 2-butoxyethanol which may cause central nervous system depression with
symptoms such as headache; dizziness; nausea and drowsiness. Exposure to 2-
butoxyethanol may cause blood cell; liver and kidney damage based on animal data.
Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Avoid breathing product vapor or mist.
Do not swallow. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after
handling.

Emergency & First Aid Procedures:
Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact
lenses. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
Skin: Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing
contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment
advice. wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Destroy contaminated shoes.
Ingestion: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Do not
induce vomiting. Drink one or two glasses of water to dilute product. Do not give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Inhalation: In case of respiratory irritation or dizziness; move person to fresh air. If not
breathing; give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult; give oxygen. Call a
poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

SECTION VIII: SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Respiratory Protection: If exposure limits are exceeded (see Section II) or if respiratory irritation occurs, the

some operations.
