EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Pellets. Avoid breathing dust during use.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:
PRIMARY ROUTE OF ENTRY: Inhalation and eye contact
ACUTE OVEREXPOSURE: Dust may cause eye, throat and nose irritation.
CHRONIC OVEREXPOSURE: Long term exposure to excessive concentration of dust may be harmful to respiratory
system. IARC has classified crystalline silica as a Group 1 carcinogen.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: None known
HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS FOUND ON NTP, IARC OR OSHA CARCINOGENS LIST: Crystalline Silica - The International Agency for
Research on Cancer (IARC) has concluded that there is sufficient evidence that crystalline silica can cause cancer in humans.
Prolonged and repeated inhalation of dust containing crystalline silica can cause silicosis and/or cancer.
