Low Alloy, Flux Cored Wires

Outershield® 81K2-H E81T1-K2M H8 75-82% Argon / Outershield® 81K2-H has excellent arc 18-19
balance CO2 characteristics and weld metal properties. This
electrode is a good choice for welding offshore
platforms and components. The hydrogen control
helps to potentially reduce preheat normally used in
highly restrained joints and on crack sensitive steels.

Outershield® 91K2-H E91T1-K2M H8 75-95% Argon / Operators will love this smooth, well-directed spray 20-21

puddle control in all positions, virtually effortless
slag removal and excellent bead wetting. It can
potentially reduce the level of preheat normally
used on crack sensitive steels. Uses include
welding HY-80 and ASTM A710 type steels.

Mild Steel Flux Cored Wire (AWS E71T-1C H8, E71T-9C H8, E71T-1M H8, E71T-9M H8)
Smooth arc transfer, low spatter and good bead appearance make this a top quality electrode. Operators will enjoy
the well directed arc with small ball transfer. The fast freezing slag system makes out-of-position welding easy.

Test results for mechanical properties, deposit or electrode composition and diffusible hydrogen levels were obtained from a weld produced and tested according to prescribed
standards, and should not be assumed to be the expected results in a particular application or weldment. Actual results will vary depending on many factors, including, but not
