Effects of Overexposure:
Aluminum is not generally regarded as and industrial poison. Salts of aluminum may cause dermatomes, eczema,
conjunctivitis, and irritation of the m ucou s mem branes of the up per respirato ry system by the acid liberated b y hydrolysis.
Prolonged exposure to iodides may result in "iodism". Symptoms include rash, runny nose, headache, irritation of mucous
me mb ranes.
EMERG ENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:
INHALATION: Remov e to fresh air.
INGESTION: Call physician or poison control center.
SK IN: Wash throug hly with soap and water.
EYES: Flush w ith water for at least 15 m inutes.
