INHALATION: Vapors can cause irritation to the nose, throat, mucous membrane and lungs. May cause headaches,
dizziness as well as other central nervous system effects.
INGESTION: Produces severe burns to mouth, stomach and gastrointestinal tract. Swallowing can cause irritation, nausea,
vomiting.
SKIN: May cause burns on exposure.
EYES: May case severe irritation with corneal injury which may result in permanent impairment of vision or even blindness.
SECTION VI: EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES
INHALATION: If affected, remove individual to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. Get medical attention.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Give large quantities of water. Give at least one ounce of milk of magnesia or
aluminum hydroxide gel in an equal amount of water. Do not give anything to an unconscious person. Contact physician
immediately.
SKIN CONTACT: Immediately place the victim under water and flush the area with plenty of water for a minimum of 15
minutes. Remove contaminated clothing while under shower. Contact physician immediately.
EYE CONTACT: Flush for at least 15 minutes with large amounts of water, lifting upper and lower lids occasionally. Get
medical attention immediately.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Eliminate all ignition sources. Persons not wearing
protective equipment should be excluded from area. Dike area of spill to prevent spreading. Prevent entry into waterways
or confined areas. Take up remaining liquid with absorbent material. Shovel into containers. Must be in accordance with
federal, state and local laws and regulations.
SECTION IX: SPECIAL PROTECTION
RESPIRATORY: If threshold limit value is exceeded, use MSHA/NIOSH approved respirator for organic vapors.
EYEWEAR: Chemical splash goggles and face shield compliance with OSHA regulations are advised. Provide eye bath near
work site.
CLOTHING/GLOVES: Wear resistant gloves such as rubber, neoprene or plastic.
VENTILATION: Provide sufficient mechanical (general and/or local exhaust) ventilation to maintain exposure levels below
TLV's.
OTHER EQUIPMENT: Rubber apron, rubber boots.
WORK PRACTICES: Keep the container closed at all times when not in use.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING:
KEEP AWAY FROM ACIDS! Keep container closed when not in use. Store away from ignition sources in cool dry area. Use
adequate ventilation. Read all container labeling. Use drum spigots that are not metal.
ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS: Since empty containers may retain product residues (vapor, liquid or solid) all labeled hazard
precautions must be observed.
