Colorless to yellow-brown liquid.



REACTIVITY & CONDITIONS TO AVOID

Stable. Sensitive to oxygen, polymerizes rapidly in the presence of oxygen and is highly

exothermic. Decomposed by water and moisture. Expect to be incompatible with acids, and strong

oxidizing materials. Store in refrigerator.



FIRE HAZARDS

Not considered flammable, but will be consumed in a fire emitting toxic fumes of carbon monoxide

and carbon dioxide. Firefighters wear SCBA and full protective clothing.

HEALTH HAZARDS

Irritating to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. The health risks of this product have not been

fully determined. It is supplied for use in research and development only and must be used by

or under the supervision of a technically qualified individual. LD 50 (oral-rat): 600 mg/Kg.

OSHA PEL/ACGIH TLV not established.   This material is not a listed carcinogen.   It DOES NOT

indicate absence of carcinogenicity.



FIRST AID

Remove contaminated clothing immediately and launder before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes.

For eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least fifteen minutes.     Seek medical attention

immediately.  For skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water, while removing clothing.     Seek

medical attention. For inhalation, remove to fresh air. If not breathing give mouth to mouth

resuscitation. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek medical attention at once. For

ingestion, seek medical attention at once.



SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Wear goggles, rubber gloves, protective clothing. Use only with adequate ventilation and/or

suitable respiratory protection. Avoid all contact. Store material in well sealed container

in refrigerator.



SPILLS & LEAKS

Remove ignition sources.  Ventilate area.   Equip personnel with respirator and protective

clothing. Take up spill in absorbent and dispose to incinerator or other suitable hazardous

waste.
