Stable. Incompatible with strong oxidizing materials, acid chlorides and anhydrides.
FIRE HAZARDS
Combustible material. Will be consumed in a fire and emit toxic fumes of carbon monoxide and
carbon dioxide. Firefighters wear SCBA.

HEALTH HAZARDS
Mildly irritating to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. LD 50 (oral-rat): 2100 mg/kg. There are
no known chronic effects. OSHA PEL/ACGIH TLV not established. This material is not a listed
carcinogen. It DOES NOT indicate absence of carcinogenicity.
FIRST AID
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and launder before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes.
For eyes, flush with plenty of water for at least fifteen minutes. If irritation develops, seek
medical attention. For skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water, while removing clothing. If
irritation develops, seek medical attention. For inhalation, remove to fresh air. If not
breathing give mouth to mouth resuscitation. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek
medical attention at once. For ingestion, dilute with water and get medical attention.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Wear goggles, rubber gloves, protective clothing. Use only with adequate ventilation and/or
suitable respiratory protection.
SPILLS & LEAKS
Ventilate area. Equip personnel with respirator. Take up spill in absorbent and dispose to
incinerator or other suitable hazardous waste.
