EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
White emulsion, mild waxy odor

Not considered a hazardous substance.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
EYES:
May cause eye irritation.
SKIN:
May cause redness or irritation with prolonged contact.
INGESTION:
May result in temporary nausea or diarrhea.
INHALATION:
Mists may cause upper respiratory tract irritation.
ROUTES OF ENTRY:
Routes of exposure for liquids include eye, skin, ingestion, and inhalation.
COMMENTS:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES:
DO NOT RUB EYES. Immediately flush eyes with large amounts of water for 15 minutes lifting the lower and upper lids. Seek medical
attention if necessary.
SKIN:
Remove contaminated clothing and immediately wash affected area with large amounts of water for at least 5 minutes. If irritation or
redness persists, seek medical attention as needed.
INGESTION:
Give large amounts of water to drink. Seek medical attention if necessary. Induce vomiting only upon advice from a physician.
INHALATION:
Move individual to fresh air and check to assure adequate respiration. Seek medical attention if necessary.
NOTES TO PHYSICIAN:
All treatments should be based on observed signs and symptoms of distress in the patient. Consideration should be give to the possibility
that overexposure to materials other than this product may have occurred. Treat symptomatically. No specific antidote is available.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Skin contact may aggravate existing skin conditions/diseases.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
WATER SPILL:
Do not flush to drain. Spills may be reportable to the Scotts Customer Services (800-225-2883).
GENERAL PROCEDURES:
Contain material by diking the area around the spill. Cogulate with either dry calcium chloride or with a concentrated
solution of calcium chloride. Small spills should be mopped up immediately. Sweep or otherwise collect into recovery
drums and dispose of properly. Both the emulsion and the dried film may present a slip hazard. (A comprehensive spill
response plan should be developed and implememted).



7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
GENERAL PROCEDURES:
Ideal temperatures are 45-85F. Avoid freezing temperatures and temperatures above 120F.
HANDLING:
Avoid direct or prolonged contact with eyes and skin.
STORAGE:
Store in tightly closed containers. Store in an area that is dry, well-ventilated, away from ignition sources, and away from incompatible
materials. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
STORAGE TEMPERATURE:
(45掳F) minimum to (85掳F) maximum
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
ENGINEERING CONTROLS:
Use under normal ventilation. No additional engineering conrols are required.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
EYES AND FACE:
Wear appropriate protective safety goggles/glasses as described in 29 CFR 1910.133. An eyewash station is recommended.
SKIN:
Skin contact should be minimized through use of appropriate clothing and suitable long-sleeved clothing(i.e., shirts and pants) and
impervious work gloves.

Personal hygiene is an important work practice exposure control measure and the following general measures should be taken when
working with or handling this material.

1. Do not store, use, and/or consume food, beverages, tobacco products, or cosmetics in area where
this material is stored.
2. Wash hands and face carefully before eating, drinking, using tobacco, applying cosmetics, or using
the toilet.
3. Wash exposed skin promptly to remove accidental splases of contact with this material.
