STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area. Do NOT store for prolonged periods
in direct sunlight.
Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to the spray tank. Do NOT
dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or
designated collection point. If not recycling break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in a local
authority landfill. If no landfill is available bury the containers below 500 mm in a disposal pit specifically
marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty
containers and product should NOT be burnt.
When treated seed is stored, it should be kept apart from other grain or seeds, and the bags or containers
should be clearly marked to show that the contents have been treated with SEMEVIN Super Seed Dressing
Insecticide. Do NOT re-use the bags or containers.
FOR RETURNABLE CONTAINERS:
Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well ventilated area. Do NOT store for prolonged periods
in direct sunlight. Empty container fully into application equipment. Close all valves and return to point of
supply for refill or storage.
When treated seed is stored, it should be kept apart from other grain or seeds, and the bags or containers
should be clearly marked to show that the contents have been treated with SEMEVIN Super Seed Dressing
Insecticide.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS
Poisonous if inhaled or swallowed. Will irritate the eyes. Repeated minor exposure may have a cumulative
poisoning effect. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do NOT inhale vapour. Obtain an emergency supply of
atropine tablets 0.6 mg. When opening the container, preparing the spray and using the prepared spray,
wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and a washable hat, elbow length PVC gloves, face
shield, impervious footwear and half facepiece respirator with combined dust and gas cartridge. After use
and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water. After
each day鈥檚 use, wash gloves, faceshield, respirator and if rubber wash with detergent and warm water and
contaminated clothing.
FIRST AID
If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre (telephone 13 11 26). If swallowed, give
one Atropine tablet every 5 minutes until dryness of the mouth occurs- if poisoned by skin absorption or
through lungs, remove any contaminated clothing, wash skin thoroughly and give Atropine tablets as above.
Get to a doctor or hospital quickly.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
MIXING AND APPLICATION
Agitate or shake container prior to use. Apply to cotton seed in a manner which ensures even and thorough
coverage of seed.
INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE STATEMENT GROUP 1A 2C INSECTICIDE
For insecticide resistance management SEMEVIN Super is both a Group 1A and a Group 2C insecticide.
Some naturally occurring insect biotypes resistant to SEMEVIN Super and other Group 1A and/or Group 2C
insecticides may exist through normal genetic variability in any insect population. The resistant individuals
can eventually dominate the insect population if these insecticides are used repeatedly. The effectiveness of
SEMEVIN Super on resistant individuals could be significantly reduced. Since the occurrence of resistant
individuals is difficult to detect prior to use, BASF Australia Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may
result from the failure of SEMEVIN Super to control resistant insects.
SEMEVIN Super may be subject to specific resistance management strategies. For further information
contact your local supplier, an BASF Australia Ltd representative or local agricultural department agronomist.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT
Do NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers. Toxic to galliform
birds and related species. Highly toxic to fish and very highly toxic to aquatic invertebrates. Any spillage of
treated seed resulting during handling and loading operations must be cleaned up as soon as practicable,
preferably by recovery and re-use. If disposal is required, ensure treated seeds are thoroughly buried and
not accessible to livestock, birds and other wildlife.
PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK AND OTHERS
Do NOT use treated seeds for human or animal consumption. Do NOT allow treated seed to contaminate
grain/other seed intended for animal or human consumption. Do NOT feed treated seed, or otherwise
expose, to wild or domestic birds.
