IF SWALLOWED:
Provided the patient is conscious, wash out mouth with water. Immediately
contact Syngenta鈥檚 Emergency Information Network at 1-800-F-A-S-T-M-E-D
(327-8633). Do not induce vomiting. Vomiting should only be induced under

Remove victim to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration,
preferably mouth-to-mouth. If breathing is labored, give oxygen. Obtain
immediate medical attention.

MEDICAL ADVICE:
This product contains materials that may cause severe pneumonitis if
aspirated. If ingestion has occurred less than 2 hours earlier, carry out
careful gastric lavage; use endotracheal cuff if available, to prevent
aspiration. Observe patient for respiratory difficulty from aspiration
pneumonitis. Give artificial resuscitation and appropriate chemotherapy if

Section 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS:
Steps to be taken in case material is released or spilled:
Contain spill and keep out of sewers and drains. Wear suitable protective
clothing.
METHODS FOR CLEANING UP:
Generously cover the contaminated areas with common, household detergent
(e.g. TIDE, registered trademark of Proctor and Gamble Co.). Using a stiff
brush and small amounts of water, work the detergent into the remaining
spilled material forming a slurry. Brush the slurry into cracks and
crevices and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes. Be careful to completely
avoid skin or eye contact. Do not splatter on oneself or bystanders.
Remove as much as possible by absorbing with inert material. Remove any
contaminated soil. Place in closed, labeled containers and store in a safe
place to await disposal.
Seal drum and dispose of contaminated material in a facility permitted for
hazardous waste. Large spills should be handled according to a spill plan.
Otherwise, in case of emergency call, day or night, 1-800-327-8633
Deactivating Chemicals:
None known.

Section 7 - HANDLING AND STORAGE

SAFE HANDLING ADVICE:
Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Use spark-resistant
tools and avoid "splash-filling" of containers. Use normal good industrial
hygiene and housekeeping practices.
REQUIREMENTS FOR STORAGE ROOMS:
Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep away from heat and sources of
ignition. Keep container tightly closed.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Do not expose sealed containers to temperatures above 40 Deg. C.
Storage Temperature
Ideal storage temperature is 10-27 Deg. C.

conditions.
Hazardous polymerization: Will not occur.
Conditions to avoid: High temperatures, sparks, open flames. Keep away
from sources of ignition
- No Smoking.

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS

Additional inform. : Product is irritating to the nose, throat and
respiratory tract. Central nervous system (CNS)
depression, peripheral nervous system (PNS) effects,
liver damage & damage to the reproductive system.

ACUTE TOXICITY (IRRITATION, SENSITIZATION ETC.)

Eye contact Results: IRRITANT

Additional inform. : This product causes irritation, redness and pain.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ACUTE OR OTHER TOXICITIES
Other effects of overexposure:
CNS depression is characterized by headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea
vomiting and incoordination. Severe overexposure may lead to comma and
possible death due to respiratory failure.
Peripheral neuropathy is a progressive disorder of the nervous system
characterized by sensory and motor abnormalities, muscle spasms, weakness
and pain in the arms and legs, numbness and tingling of the fingers and
toes and paralysis.
Intentional misuse of organic solvents (eg. "glue sniffing") over
prolonged periods of time may be habit forming and lead to behavioral
changes.
Teratogenic/fetotoxic/embryotoxic effects in rats consisted of increased
incidence of diaphramatic hernia and reduced body weights at high dose
levels relative to that seen in the control groups. Human exposure trials
have indicated that skin absorption is unlikely to result in accumulation
of significant levels and therefore the risk of these effects occurring is
thought to be negligible. Nevertheless, it is prudent to restrict
exposures to this product by the ongoing use of protective equipment and
appropriate control measures and techniques.
General information
The ingredient(s) of this product is (are) not classified as carcinogenic
by ACGIH or IARC, not regulated as carcinogens by OSHA and not listed as
carcinogens by NTP.
Large doses of fluazifop-p-butyl may cause reproductive effects based on
studies in laboratory animals. It is our belief that, under conditions of
normal occupational exposure, this product should not pose such a hazard
to the worker.
There is no evidence of mutagenic potential.
