Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Decomposes upon heating to liberate ammonia. Avoid dispersion of
dust in air to reduce potential explosion hazard. Fire may produce irritating or poisonous gases. Contact
may cause burns to skin and eyes. Run-off from fire control or dilution water should be kept to a minimum
and controlled to keep additional run-off contamination to a minimum.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Evacuate residents who are down-wind of fire. Prevent unauthorized
entry to fire area. Have medical check made of employees that may have been exposed to fumes or other
contamination of pesticides. For Fire Fighting Authorities: Wear protective clothing over entire body,
including Rubber Boots, Hat and Coat, and avoid contact with toxic fumes or smoke. Self-Contained
Breathing Equipment is essential for those exposed to fumes or smoke. Be immediately relieved from duty
and check for possible poisoning if exposed to fumes or smoke without adequate protection. Wash
thoroughly and immediately with large volumes of soap and water if contacted by pesticides. Any person
heavily exposed to pesticides should be examined by a physician immediately without waiting for
symptoms to occur. Avoid smoking, drinking, or eating while fire fighting so as not to ingest toxic
substances. Monitor any water run-off, dike surrounding area.

SECTION 5 鈥? HEALTH INFORMATION

PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE AND TARGET ORGANS:
Skin contact, inhalation, eye contact, ingestion
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE:
(1) ACUTE OVEREXPOSURE: Ingestion of large quantities may cause symptoms of non-specific
irritation of the gastrointestinal tract; nausea, vomiting, cramps, and diarrhea. Eye and skin contact
may result in local irritation. Inhalation of high concentrations may result in upper respiratory tract
irritation.
(2) CRONIC OVEREXPOSURE: Inhalation of dust may permanently damage the lungs and results in the
development of pneumoconiosis, silicosis, or other respiratory disorders.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Disorder of respiratory
system, dermatitis or other skin disorders.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:
INGESTION: Induce vomiting immediately by giving two glasses of water and sticking finger down
throat. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician. EYE CONTACT:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids apart to ensure flushing
of the entire eye and lids with water. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists. Oils and ointments
should not be used unless directed by a physician. SKIN CONTACT: Immediately wash skin with soap
and plenty of water. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS LEAKED OR SPILLED:
Clean up of spills may require personal protective equipment. See Section 8. Sweep-up or vacuum the
material and transfer to the original container, or to a sealed, labeled container. Residue may be washed
away with water.

Dispose of in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations.
