SECTION 4 FIRST AID MEASURES
If POISONING IS SUSPECTED, immediately contact the poison information centre, doctor or nearest
hospital. Tell the person contacted the complete product name, and the type and amount of exposure.
Describe any symptoms and follow the advice given. Call the Syngenta Emergency Line [1-800-327-8633
(1-800-FASTMED)], for further information.

EYES: Immediately rinse eyes with a large amount of running wat er. Hold eyelids apart to rinse
the entire surface of the eye and lids. Do not apply any medicating agents except on the
advice of a physician.
SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing, and wash skin with plenty of soap and water, including hair
and under fingernails. Do not apply any medicating agents except on the advice of a
physician. Wash clothing before reuse.
INHALATION: Move victim from contaminated area to fresh air. Apply artificial respiration if necessary.
INGESTION: Repeatedly administer medicinal charcoal in a large amount of water. Do not induce
vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
NOTES TO PHYSICIAN: There is no specific antidote if PEAK? 75 WG is ingested. Induce emesis or
lavage stomach.

SECTION 5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
1. Flash point and method: Not applicable
2. Upper and lower flammable (explosive) limits in air: Not applicable
3. Autoignition temperature: Not applicable
4. Hazardous combustion products: Combustion products are toxic and/or irritant. Carbon
monoxide, carbon dioxide, and oxides of nitrogen and sulfur may be present.
5. Conditions under which flammability could occur: None.
6. Extinguishing media: Dry chem ical, foam, or carbon dioxide.
Fire-fighters should wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus. Evacuate
non-essential personnel from the area to prevent human exposure to fire, smoke, fumes, or products
of combustion. Prevent use of contaminated buildings, area, and equipment until decontaminated.

Peak ? 75 WG Page 2 of 5
Measures should be taken to prevent the extinguishing agent from seeping into the ground or from
spreading uncontrollably.
7. Sensitivity to explosion by mechanical impact: No
8. Sensitivity to explosion by static discharge: No

SECTION 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
a. Procedures for dealing with release or spill: Wear chemical safety glasses or goggles, rubber
gloves, rubber boots, long-sleeved shirt, long pants, head covering, and NIOSH-approved dust
respirator. Moisten the spilled material with a little water. For small spills, sweep up as much
material as possible, keeping dust to a minimum. and place in a marked chemical container. Wash
the spill area with water containing a strong detergent, absorb with pet litter or other absorbent
material, sweep up and place in a chemical container. Seal container and label appropriately for
disposal. Flush the spill area with water to remove any residue. Do not allow wash water to
contaminate water supplies. Heavily contaminated soil layers have to be dug out down to clean
soil.

SECTION 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE
a. Handling practices: Wear appropriate protective clothing. Follow label directions for use and
disposal. Keep water-soluble bags dry. If the bags get wet they will dissolve. Do not open water-
soluble bags. If working with the granules, avoid inhalation of dust. Keep PEAK? 75 WG out of
bodies of water. As this product is a herbicide, keep it away from contact with vegetation other than
the crops being treated.
b. Appropriate storage practices/requirements: Store product in original containers in a well-
ventilated, cool, dry, secure area set aside for herbicides. Protect from heat, humidity and from
freezing. Prolonged storage below 0潞C may cause the water-soluble bags to become brittle. KEEP
OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN, unauthorised persons and animals. Store separately from food,
feed and other products. Rotate stock. Clean up spilled material immediately.

SECTION 8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
a. Applicable control measures, including engineering controls: If contact with the product is
possible, wear heavy -duty cotton or synthetic fabric work clothes, a rubber apron, heavy duty shoes
or boots, gloves, goggles or face shield. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing dust.
Work in a well-ventilated area. After work, wash equipment and gloves with soap or soda solution.
Wash thoroughly (shower, bathe, wash hair) and change clothing.
b. Personal protective equipment for each exposure route:
To avoid ingestion, store the material in a well-ventilated, secure area out of the reach of children
and domestic animals. Do not store food, beverages, or tobacco products in the storage area. Do
not eat, drink, use tobacco or apply cosmetics in areas where there is potential for exposure to the
material. Always wash thoroughly after handling.
To avoid eye contact, wear chemical safety glasses or goggles.
To avoid skin contact, wear rubber gloves, rubber boots, long-sleeved shirt, long pants and a head
covering.
To avoid breathing dust, wear a NIOSH-approved dust respirator.
