SECTION 3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

NOTE: Please refer to Section 11 for detailed toxicological information.
Emergency Overview May be fatal if swallowed. Corrosive to eyes. Causes irreversible damage. The
active ingredient at high concentrations is highly toxic to fish and other aquatic
organisms. High concentrations of vapor can cause headache, dizziness,
drowsiness and unconsciousness.

Physical State liquid

Odor Aromatic

Appearance Red

Routes of Exposure Skin absorption and mist or vapor inhalation.

Immediate Effects
Eye Corrosive - causes irreversible eye damage.

Skin Can cause irritation to the skin resulting in effects such as burning and/or tingling
sensation. Harmful if absorbed through skin.

Ingestion May be fatal if swallowed.

Inhalation Harmful if inhaled.

Signs and Symptoms Overexposure to tralomethrin (the active ingredient): Can cause unsteadiness,
body tremors, uncoordinated movements, convulsions and extreme exhaustion.
Overexposure to the solvent vapor or spray mist can cause irritation to mucous
membranes, headache, dizziness, drowsiness, unconsciousness and other
central nervous system effects.

SECTION 4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Eye Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attention immediately.

Skin Wash off with soap and water. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.

Ingestion Do not induce vomiting. Call a physician. Gastric lavage should be supervised by
trained personnel because of the possible pulmonary damage via aspiration of
the solvent. Contains petroleum distillates. If possible, bring container and
labeling to the attending physician.

Inhalation Consult a physician if irritation of the respiratory passages occurs.

Note to Physician Experience in humans is limited. This compound is not a classic cholinesterase
inhibitor but animal studies have shown that the use of atropine and diazapam
may be effective in treating the symptomatology (peripheral cholinergic disorders
and seizures respectively).

SECTION 12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION

_
Environmental This pesticide is extremely toxic to fish and other aquatic organisms, including
Precautions crab and shrimp. Use with care when applying in areas adjacent to any body of
water. Do not apply directly to water, to areas where surface water is present or
to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not apply when weather
conditions favor drift from treated areas. Drift or runoff from treated fields may kill
fish and other aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate water when disposing of
equipment washwaters.

This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues
remaining on the treated areas. Do not apply this product or allow drift when
bees are actively visiting the treatment area. Do not apply it or allow it to drift to
crops or weeds on which bees are actively foraging. Notify state and/or Federal
authorities and Aventis immediately if you observe any adverse environmental
effects due to the use of this product.

that state and local requirements for waste disposal may be more restrictive or
otherwise different from federal laws and regulations. Consult state and local
regulations regarding the proper disposal of this material.

Pesticide Disposal: Pesticide wastes are toxic. Improper disposal of excess
pesticide, spray mixture, or rinsate is a violation of Federal Law. If these wastes
cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your State
Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency, or the Hazardous Waste
representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance.

Container Disposal Empty containers should be triple rinsed into the spray tank during operation.
Then offer for recycling or reconditioning or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary
landfill or incineration, or if allowed by State and Local authorities, by burning. If
burned, stay out of smoke.

The product may be packaged in returnable containers, the sole property of
