SYMPTOMS/EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE As with any chemical, avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not
ingest.
INHALATION Dust can cause discomfort of the nose, throat and upper respiratory tract; coughing and choking.
SKIN Can cause discomfort with prolonged contact.
INGESTION Can cause gastro-intestinal discomfort if swallowed.
EYES Can cause discomfort.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES
Eye Contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open.
Remove any contact lenses to ensure thorough flushing. If irritation continues, seek medical
attention.
Skin Contact: Wash skin with soap and water. Wash clothing before reuse.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air.

Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled Contain spill immediately. Remove sources of
ignition. Wear personal protective equipment. Vacuum up when possible, otherwise, shovel into containers for
disposal. Reuse if not contaminated. Do not allow to enter sewers or watercourses.
Waste Disposal Methods Dispose of in accordance with Local, state, and Federal regulations, depending
upon product condition. Suitable for reprocessing .

Ventilation Local exhaust may be necessary for some handling/use conditions. Specific needs should be
addressed by supervisory or health/safety personnel.
Respiratory Protection If TLV is exceeded, or for symptoms of overexposure, wear a NIOSH-approved dust
respirator.
Protective Gloves If potential for prolonged or repeated skin contact exists, wear gloves and apron or coveralls
and/or foot coverings, as needed.
