an increased incidence of urinary tumors in the high dose rats. However, no tumors or other
compound-related effects occurred at the three lower exposure levels. Other effects in the high dose group
consisted of decreased body weight and a pronounced incidence of rales (noise in the lungs). No tissue
damage was observed in the lungs of these animals.
MUTAGENIC EFFECTS: Ames test negative. Mouse lymphoma L5178 Y, E. coli pol A+/polaplate and CHO

DEVELOPMENTAL TOXICITY: In dominant lethal assays, male rats fed CURE-RITE 18 for 56 days were
mated with females. Examination of the pregnant females showed that it did not cause mutations which were
lethal to the unborn pups.
REPRODUCTIVE TOXICITY: No adverse effect on reproductive perfomance was observed when groups of
male rats were adiministered 0, 60, 200 and 600 ppm doses in their diets for 56 days.
