III PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Always Read and Follow the Label Instructions and Warnings

Exposure Standards:
A Time Weighted Average (TWA) concentration for an 8 hour day/5 day week has
not been established for this specific material by Worksafe Australia. There is a
blanket recommendation of 10mg/m鲁 for inspirable dusts or mists when limits have
not been established.
The nature of this product makes it unlikely that this level will be approached under
normal use.
The Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) for Fenbendazole is set at 50 碌g/kg/day. The
corresponding No-Observable-Effect-Level (NOEL) is set at 5 mg/kg/day. (Australian ADI
List, May 1998).

Engineering Controls:
In industrial situations, air concentrations below the TWA value should be
maintained, otherwise use respiratory protection. Natural ventilation should be
adequate under normal use conditions. If the air concentration of vapour or mist is
high, the process should be modified to reduce the problem.
Keep containers closed when not in use.

Personal protection:
Wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, safety boots, safety glasses, a
washable hat and impervious gloves when using this product. Avoid skin and eye
contact. After handling this product, always wash hands before smoking, eating,
drinking or using the toilet. Wash contaminated clothing or other personal protective
equipment before storing or re-using.
Respiratory Protection: If there is a risk of inhalation of spray mists, wear a mask or
respirator meeting the requirements of AS/NZS 1715.
Protective Gloves: Impermeable protective gloves should be worn when using this
product. For help in selecting suitable equipment, consult AS 2161.
Eye Protection: It is good industrial practice to always use protective eyewear. For
