3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Toxicity: Liquid is painfully irritating to the eyes.
Corneal injury is unlikely. Prolonged skin
exposure can cause a burning sensation. Repeated
exposures are mildly irritating and may cause
slight dermatitis. Low systemic toxicity by
inhalation. Acute exposure above 1000ppm range may
cause light-headedness dizziness, headache,
vertigo, drowsiness, narcosis, unconscioueness and
even death in extreme cases. Ingestion is an
unlikely route of exposure; ingestion of small
quantities is not likely to be toxic. Inhalation
of fumes or prolonged or repeated exposure at very
high concentrations may cause headaches, nausea,
and vomiting.
Primary Routes of Entry: Inhalation, skin.
Signs and symptoms
of Exposure: Headaches, nausea, vomiting, light-headedness,
vertigo, drowsiness, narcosis, unconsciousness,
eye and skin irritation, dermatitis, skin burning

Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Keep individual calm.
Obtain medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, obtain
medical attention. Give oxygen if breathing is
difficult. Give artificial respiration if
breathing has stopped.

water. Rinse for 5-15 minutes.
