08. PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT / CONTROL MEASURES
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
No special respiratory protection equipment is recommended under anticipated
conditions of normal use with adequate ventilation.
EYE PROTECTION
Eye protection such as chemical splash goggles and/or face shield must be
worn when possibility exists for eye contact due to splashing or spraying
liquid, airborne particles, or vapor. Contact lenses should not be worn.
SKIN PROTECTION
Even though not indicated to be a specific skin hazard, hand, arm, foot and
face protection should be worn when possibility exists for skin contact.
Use insulated gloves, impervious apron, long sleeves and other protective
clothing when handling this material hot. Wash clothing frequently.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS
No special ventilation is usually required beyond that needed for normal
comfort control.
OTHER HYGIENIC PRACTICES
Emergency eye wash fountains and safety showers should be available in the
immediate vicinity of any potential exposure.

INHALATION
Not expected to present a significant inhalation hazard under anticipated
conditions of normal use.
EYE CONTACT
In case of eye contact, immediately rinse with clean water for 20-30
minutes. Retract eyelids often. Obtain emergency medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT
Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Contact burns from hot or very cold materials should be flooded with cool
low pressure water for 15 minutes. Obtain emergency medical attention if
burns are deep and for prompt removal of any contamination.
INGESTION
Ingestion unlikely. However, if ingested, obtain emergency medical
attention.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT PROCEDURES
If pain, blinking, tears, or redness continue, patient should contact
ophthalmologist.
10. SPILL AND DISPOSAL
PRECAUTIONS IF MATERIAL IS SPILLED OR RELEASED
Equip responders with proper protection (see Sec. 8). Impound/recover large
land spill. Soak up small spill with inert solids. Shovel into suitable
disposal containers. Flush/dilute residue with water.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHODS
When discarded in its purchased form, this product is not a RCRA hazardous
waste. However, it is the responsibility of the generator to determine at
the time of disposal whether the product meets the criteria of a hazardous
waste. Comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations.
Waste disposal options include landfilling solids at permitted sites. Use
registered transporters.
