Chronic/Carcinogenicity Effects
Cement, cementitious grouts and mortars are known to cause both irritant and allergic contact dermatitis.
Prolonged skin contact can result in chemical burns.
Conditions Aggravated By Exposure
Dust allergies, respiratory diseases.
4. First Aid Measures
Eye
In case of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty of tepid water for at least 15 minutes.
Get medical attention immediately if irritation develops and persists.
Skin
In case of contact, immediately flush skin with soap and plenty of tepid water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attention immediately if irritation (redness, rash, blistering) develops and persists.
Ingestion
If victim is fully conscious, give one or two cups of water or milk to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Call a
physician or a poison control center immediately.
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration, contact physician.

Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Keep containers tightly closed.
Handling Precautions
Void creating dust. Avoid breathing dust. Promptly remove dusty clothing or clothing which is wet with product
and launder before reuse. Wash thoroughly after exposure to dust or wet cement mixtures or fluids.
Storage Precautions
Store in a cool, dry area. Keep containers tightly closed and dry until used. Store away from hydrofluoric acid
and fluorides. Normal temperatures and pressures do not affect the material.

Engineering Controls
Use of a system of local and/or general exhaust is recommended to keep employee below applicable exposure
limits. Refer to the current edition of "Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice" published by
the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists for information on the design, installation, use,
and maintenance of exhaust systems.

Safety glasses with side shields or goggles. Contact lenses should not be worn when working with product.

Lab coat or other work clothing to prevent skin exposure (Long sleeve shirt, long pants, and gloves). Launder
before reuse.
