of skin which may result in skin irritation and dermatitis.May cause slight skin irritation.
Ingestion Hazards
May cause vomiting. Aspiration of liquid while vomiting may injure lungs seriously. No known effects associated
with repeated or prolonged exposure.
Inhalation Hazards
Vapor may irritate nose and throat. Overexposure by inhalation may cause drowsiness, dizziness, confusion or
loss of coordination. Repeated or prolonged exposure may cause injury to the nervous system.
Signs And Symptoms
No known applicable infomration.
Conditions Aggravated By Exposure
No known applicable information.

4. First Aid Measures
Eye
In case of contact, hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty of tepid water for at least 15 minutes.
Get medical attention immediately if irritation develops and persists. Remove contact lenses, if worn.
Skin
In case of contact, immediately flush skin with soap and plenty of tepid water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attention immediately if irritation (redness, rash, blistering) develops and persists.
Ingestion
Seek medical attention immediately. Induce vomiting if directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious victim.
Inhalation
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, obtain appropriate medial attention.
Note To Physician
Treat according to person's condition and specifics of exposure.

5. Fire Fighting Measures
Flash Point: Not Applicable 掳F
Lower Explosive Limit: Not Determined
Upper Explosive Limit: Not Determined
Extinguishing Media
On large fires use dry chemical, foam, or water spray. On small fires use carbon dioxide, dry chemical, or water
spray. Water can be used to cool fire exposed containers.
Fire Fighting Instructions
In the event of a fire, firefighters should wear full protective clothing and NIOSH-approved self-contained
breathing apparatus with a full facepiece operated in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.
Determine the need to evacuate or isolate area according to your local emergency plan. Use water spray to keep
fire exposed containers cool.

6. Accidental Release Measures
Determine whether to evacuate or isolate the area according to your local emergency plan. Observe all personal
protection equipment recommendations described in Sections 5 and 8.
For large spills, provide diking or other appropriate containment to keep material from spreading. If diked material can

be pumped, store recovered material in appropriate container. For small spills, wipe up or scrape up and contain for
salvage or disposal. Clean area as appropriate since spilled material, even in small quantities, may present a slip
hazard. Final cleaning may require the use of steam, solvents or detergent. Dispose of saturated absorbent or cleaning
material appropriately, since spontaneous heating may occur.
Local, state and federal laws and regulations may apply to releases and disposal of this material, as well as those
materials and items employed in the cleanup of releases. You will need to determine which federal, state and local laws
and regulations are applicable. Sections 13 and 15 of this MSDS provide information regarding certain federal and state
requirements.

7. Handling And Storage
Handling And Storage Precautions
Keep out of reach of children. Not for internal consumption.
Handling Precautions
Use adequate ventilation. Product evolves acetic acid when exposed to water or humid air. Provide ventilation
during use to control acetic acid within exposure guidelines or use respiratory protection. Avoid eye contact.
Avoid skin contact. Avoid breathing vapors, mist, dust or fumes. Keep container closed. Do not take internally.
Storage Precautions
Use reasonable care and store away from oxidizing materials. Keep containers closed and store away from
water and moisture.
Work/Hygienic Practices
Wash thoroughly after handling.

8. Exposure Controls/Personal Protection
Engineering Controls
Acetic Acid is formed upon contact with water or humid air. Provide adequate ventilation to control exposures
within guidelines of OSHA PEL: TWA 10 ppm and ACGIH TLV: TWA 10ppm, STEL 15ppm.
Eye/Face Protection
Safety goggles or glasses with side shields are recommended.
Skin Protection
Chemical-resistant butyl rubber protective gloves. Lab coat or other work clothing to prevent skin exposure (Long
sleeve shirt and long pants). Launder before reuse.
Respiratory Protection
General and local exhaust is recommended to maintain vapor exposures below recommended limits. Where
concentrations are above recommended limits as determined by air sampling or are unknown, appropriate
respiratory protection should be worn. Follow OSHA Respirator Regulations (28 CFR 1910.134) and use
NIOSH/MSHA approved respirators.
Special precautions to be taken in the event of a spill: Protection provided by air purifying respirators against
exposure to any hazardous chemical is limited. Use a positive pressure air supplied respirator if there is any
potential for uncontrolled release, exposure levels are unknown or any other circumstance where air purifying
respirators may not provide adequate protection.
Other/General Protection
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid breathing vapor, mist, dust or fumes. Keep container closed. Do not
take internally. Use reasonable care.
