2 COMPOSITION AND INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
2.1 Description # Continuous filament glass fibre, made of E-glass (90 wt-%min), with an
organic polymer size, less than 3 wt-% for rovings, mat less than 9.5 wt-% (complex
mixture; in general Silanes and Polymers)

3 HAZARDOUS IDENTIFICATION

The product is stable and not flammable under normal industrial conditions, continuous
exposure of glassfibre filaments can sometimes cause irritation of the skin and less
frequently, of the eyes, nose or throat.
4 FIRST AID MEASURES
4.1 Special instructions # to be treated with normal care.
4.2 Inhalation # if persistently irritates, seek medical attention.
4.3 Skin # rinse contacted areas with cold water, when necessary mild soap can be used. If glassfibre
becomes embedded or causes cut wounds seek medical attention.
4.4 Splashes in eyes # flush eyes with pure water for 15 minutes, seek medical attention.
4.5 Ingestion # seek medical attention.
4.6 Information to doctor or other trained persons giving first aid # As above.
5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
5.1 Suitable extinguishing media* Non-burning material.
5.2 Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons - Not applicable.
5.3 Special exposure hazards in a fire, in a sustained fire, sizings and binders may decompose,
releasing Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monooxide & water. However, the larger part of the product
consists of non-flammable E-glass.

be worn.

7.2 Storage # No special safety precautions, for optimum performance Binani Industries Ltd., Glass Fibre
products should be stored, at temperatures 15 - 20掳C and at a relative humidity below 65% in their
packages.
